On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be next seen in Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which will be directed by Geetha Govindam helmer Parasuram. Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen opposite MB in this venture. Sarkaru Vaari Paata is expected to be a family entertainer, where Mahesh Babu will portray a larger-than-life character. Post this, he will collaborate with Baahubali and RRR director SS Rajamouli for a mega-budget venture. The film will be produced by KL Narayana and will go on floors in 2022. "I have said it several times that after the project with D V V Danayya, I will be collaborating with KL Narayana for my next starring Mahesh Babu," Rajamouli had said in an interview with TV9.
