Bigg Boss fans, the wait is finally over for you all. The makers of the show announced the premiere date of the controversial show. In the video we can see Salman Khan saying that it's finally time to give 2020 a befitting reply. The show will premiere on October 3, 2020.
As per a recent report in Mumbai Mirror, Salman Khan will shoot the premiere episode of Bigg Boss 14 on October 1. Usually, the premiere episodes are shot a day in advance so as to keep the list and names of contestants under the wraps. But this time, it would be two days in advance. According to reports, this is because Salman has other professional commitments. After the shoot of Bigg Boss 14, the actor will resume shoot for his upcoming action-thriller, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
The previous season of the show was a huge hit and the expectations are high from this one. The new addition to the Bigg Boss house is that the contestants will get pre-lockdown experiences in the house like shopping, eating outside food, and watching movies in the theatres. As per a report in Indian Express, the makers of Bigg Boss 14 have planned to construct a mall, a mini-theatre, spa, and a restaurant-style corner in the house. A source close to Indian Express said, "Throughout the lockdown, people have missed certain activities, be it shopping, eating out or watching films. As part of the luxury tasks, contestants would be able to win a chance to enjoy these in the Bigg Boss 14 house."
It was reported earlier that the contestants who will enter the show will be quarantined for 14 days before entering the show. Reportedly, the show will have a massive change in the format in terms of run time. It is believed that Bigg Boss makers are planning to slash the air time from an hour to half-an-hour.
