After a long delay courtesy the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing lockdown, one of the most anticipated movies in all of Indian cinema, not just in Tollywood, Pushpa, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmilka Mandanna, recently resumed its shoot. Fans were beside themselves with joy to learn that Allu Arjun would be back with the crew to continue from where they left off. However, this was almost like a teaser of first-look video, and many have eager for some other exciting update about the film.
Well, if you're among them then you've come to the right place because BollywoodLife recently got in touch for an exclusive interview with Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil, who's making his Telugu debut with Pushpa, and he graciously indulged us with some crucial updates about the movie.
"In lockdown, the entire schedule got shuffled, so I'm yet to join the shoot. Hopefully, I'll start with Pushpa in August and then move onto Vikram. It's a very exciting film, but I'd love to talk about it after I finish shooting, that's just how I am, I generally don't talk about films before shooting," said Fahadh Faasil.
Upon pressing him a bit more over Pushpa's release date, the actor paused, thought a bit and added, "By end of the year or early next year."
So, what more could you ask for? Not only did Fahadh Faasil reveal when he'll be joining Allu Arjun to shoot for Pushpa, but also dropped a major hint on when the pan-Indian film might see its theatrical release. Talk about getting major inside scoop, right?
