Well, fans from across the globe are excited for the special episode of Friends Reunion, which will air on May 27, 2021, on HBO Max. The sit-com is highly-anticipated for another reason as apart from the ensemble cast it will be graced by special celebs like David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
While the show is just 9 days away from its release, we came across a throwback video of BTS, which has a special connect with Friends and it will definitely cheer up. In this video, we see Bangtan Boys member RM revealing that during his teenage days, the cult show was his English teacher. When host Ellen DeGeneres asked the lead member how he learned the language, RM replied, "My English teacher was the sitcom Friends." He continued and said, "Back in the days, when I was like 15, 14, it was quite like a syndrome for all the Korean parents to make their kids watch Friends. I thought I was kind of like a victim at that time, but right now, I'm the lucky one, thanks to my mother. She bought me all 10 DVDs all the seasons. So firstly, I watched them with the Korean subtitles, and then next time, I watched with the English subtitles, and then I just removed it." Well, no one could have imagined that even shows can play such a cool role in anyone's life, isn't it?
The reunion episode features the original cast of the show including Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Courteney Cox. So, are you excited for this reunion? Tweet and let us know @bollywood_life.
