Salman Khan and Disha Patani have been paired for the first time in their recently released action thriller Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The two have also surprised their fans when they locked lips on the screen, even though they kissed through a duct tape. Salman may have a 27-year age difference with Disha, but director Prabhu Deva says that their fresh pairing has worked well for the film.
"She's an extremely hard-working actor. In a way it's quite a new pair in Bollywood. They worked really well for the film, and are looking good in the songs too. People are already loving them. The youth is crazy about Disha, which is definitely good for the movie. It was my first time working with her and I found her to be very sweet and professional. Everyone loves her. She is also a very good dancer and so it was all very smooth during the shoot," Prabhu Deva told a leading publication.
Disha has undoubtedly done a commendable job in Radhe and is being appreciated for the glamour she has brought in. Her hot and charming looks and her quirky chemistry with Salman Khan is enough for her fans to watch the film. Her killer moves in the songs Seetimaar and Zoom Zoom have already become the talk of the town.
The Prabhu Deva directorial got an overwhelming response from the audience after the film was released on ZEE5's pay-per-view service ZEEPlex in India on May 13. The action thriller has undoubtedly turned to be Salman's Eid bonanza for 2021 as it has broken records to become the most watched film on day 1 with 4.2 million views across all platforms.
In UAE, on its opening day with theatre capacities running at 50 per cent, Radhe has collected USD 379,000 which is not only higher than Salman Khan's last film Dabbang 3 (2019) but also a higher opening day collection than Godzilla vs. Kong. The collections are likely to go higher given the festive weekend.
