Radhe box office collection day 1: Salman Khan shows his superstardom in the overseas markets

Due to the second wave of COVID-19 we saw the postponement of many films. But Salman Khan fulfilled his commitment by releasing his anticipated venture Radhe in theatres and on OTT. While the current scenario in the country has impacted the collections of the film, the star power of Salman Khan was visible at the overseas markets as the action-entertainer raked in Rs 2.94 crore in the international markets with UAE and Australia contributing a big chunk. Well, these collections are commendable as the cinema halls running there are operating at the 50 per cent capacity. We are sure that the film put up a great total by the end of its opening weekend.

Talking about the film, it is directed by Prabhudheva and also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, Randeep Hooda, Gautam Gulati, Sudhanshu Pandey, Megha Akash and Bharath in pivotal roles. The action-entertainer marks the third collaboration between director and Salman Khan after Wanted and Dabangg 3.

Talking about the reviews, BollywoodLife has given the film 3.5 stars and wrote, "While the script and direction could've done with some fine tuning, Salman Khan's Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai is still massy and masaledaar enough to offer an entertaining deviation from the usual, dark content on OTT platforms, while also being its own film, retaining no more than the essence and some main plot devices of Korean film The Outlaws. If it had seen a tradional Eid release in theatres like a Salman movie should, we predict it having taken no less than a Rs. 40 crore nett opening."
