OMG! Here's how Neena Gupta's husband, Vivek Mehra, REACTED after watching her as a 90-year-old lady in Sardar Ka Grandson

The trailer of Arjun Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Neena Gupta starrer Sardar Ka Grandson has garnered a positive response from the audience. While the cross-border film is expected to be an out-of-the-box film, audience have loved the character of Neena Gupta, who plays the role of a 90-year-old outspoken grandmother. The actress recently revealed her husband, Vivek Mehra's reaction to her appearance in the film and told News 18, "I showed him the picture, he said, 'Arre, kya ho gaya teri shakal ko? (What happened to your face?)' Maine kaha (I said), 'Well, I'm an actor.'"

Neena Gupta also revealed that earlier she rejected the film and it was only after her manager's conviction, who told her to hear the script, which changed her mind. The Badhaai Ho star also said that the older woman was roped in for the role as it would be difficult for her to shoot for long hours. "I didn't think of 90 or 60, I just asked her one thing why don't you take an older person for this role? She (director Kaashvie Nair) said that a real 90-year-old person wouldn't be able to shoot for long hours. We used to shoot 15-16 hours in cold weather," said the actress.Calling it the toughest role of her career, Neena added, "I am willing to do play any age group if the role is good. This is one of the most challenging roles I have ever done and I am really nervous before the release that have I overdone anything? Have I done it right?"

Directed by Kaashvie Nair, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham under the banners T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment.
