Neena Gupta has always been a beacon oh hope, strength and independence not only for women in Bollywood, but all across the country. she has always lived life on her own terms, has never seemed to take stick from anyone and several women across generation have taken her example. Which is why her latest interview could come as a surprise to many, where she has been quoted saying, "Nobody can take anybody for a ride unless someone wants to go on that ride."
While speaking to a leading daily about her experiences in Bollywood as a single woman for the longest time, before finally finding a partner later in life, Neena Gupta said that men in the industry had made sexual advances to her, believing that a single woman would be more vulnerable, but she'd soon realise their intentions. Following this revelation, she stated that no one in the industry could be taken for a ride until and unless they're willing to.
Among other related news, the Badhaai Ho actress recently announced her autobiography titled Sach Kahun Toh, which is set to be launched on 14th June. Sharing the release date on official Instagram handle, Neena Gupta said in a video that she posted, "I thought in these very difficult and gloomy times, when we are stuck at home, we are sad and anxious, may be my book will help you tide some of the tough days."
