Kangana Ranaut had quarantined herself at home after being detected positive for COVID-19 a few days ago. Now, after completing her self-isolation period and getting herself tested again, the 4-time National Award Winning actress has finally tested negative for coronavirus, and took to social media to share the joyous news with her fans. The Thalivi actress, who had earlier found herself again in a soup over her post about testing positive for the deadly virus, has also expressed how she has been advised to not comment anything against COVID-19 as it may "offend" people and even more bizarrely, "disrespect" the virus.
Taking to her official Instagram handle, Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Insta story section: "Hello everyone, I have tested negative for covid, I want to say a lot about how I beat the virus but I am told not to offend covid fan clubs... yes there are actually people out there who get offended if you show disrespect towards the virus....anyways thanks for all your wishes and love." Check out her post below:
While quarantining at home, Kangana celebrated Eid and shared photos of the same on social media with fans along with pictures of the dishes she ate while recovering from COVID-19. Meanwhile, her original post, where she informed fans about testing COVID-19 positive was removed by Instagram and the actress had taken to her stories to slam the platform for the action. The Tejas star was detected with coronavirus when she was planning to go back to Himachal Pradesh amidst the Mumbai lockdown.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Thalaivi essaying the role of Jayalalithaa. The film's release has been postponed due to the second wave of COVID-19 and subsequent surge in its cases. The actress also has Tejas and Dhaakad in the pipeline. Besides these, she also announced a film under her banner, Manikarnika Films, titled Tiku Weds Sheru.
