It's been a few years since Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff have been rumoured to be dating. The two are often spotted together during their private outings. Disha is, in fact, quite close to Tiger's family. It was being said that Tiger's parents Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff have already given the nod to their relationship. However, neither Disha nor Tiger have made it official. And while their fans are eagerly waiting for Disha and Tiger to come out as a couple, Jackie Shroff was recently asked how Disha addressed him on the sets of their upcoming film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
Responding to the question about how Disha addresses him 'sir/Jackie uncle/anything else?', Jackie told TOI, "Well, most often, nobody addresses by name. Like when two people are together, they don't keep saying each other's name. There's nothing to be said. But as far as I remember, I think she called me 'sir' on the few occasions that she addressed me. Uncle bahut alag sa lagta hai. Main aapke baap ka bhai kaise ho sakta? (Uncle sounds weird. It means I am that person's father's brother, how is that possible?) Dono ke parivaar alag hain (Both come from different families)."
In 2019, Jackie had said that Tiger and Disha may get married or remain good friends for life. He had said that Tiger had found his first girl friend at the age of 25 and till then he never looked around. Talking about Disha and Tiger's friendship, Jackie had said, "They share the same passions, dance and workout together. She comes from a family of army officers, so she understands the value of discipline. Who knows they may get married in future or remain friends for life, for now they are just friends."
In Radhe, Jackie plays the role of Disha's brother. Starring Salman Khan in the lead, the movie is scheduled to open theatrically on May 13, on the occasion of Eid, across all Indian states where theatres are operational as per Covid protocols. The film simultaneously drop on the premium pay-per-view service platform Zeeplex. It also stars Randeep Hooda and is directed by Prabhu Deva.
Radhe is also scheduled to release in the Middle East, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Europe, and will be the first Bollywood film to release theatrically in the UK since lockdown last year.
