Indian Idol 12 has become the talk of the town. Well, it sure has hordes of talent but there are some things that the fans of the show are not happy about. More than the singing talents, these days Indian Idol 12 has grabbed headlines for the controversies. Seeing the controversy surrounding the show, we had conducted a poll on the same, asking whether they [the audience] thought season 12 of Indian Idol to be the worst ever season in the history of the singing reality TV show. And they have answered. So, as per the poll result, about a whopping 68.1 percent of the voters think that Indian Idol 12 is the worst season of the show. While 31.9 percent, who we think are ardent fans of the show still believe in the charm of the show.
A lot of fans and Twitter users have complained on social media about what they don't like about Indian Idol 12. A Twitter user said, "Yes it can be said as one of the worst. Unlike previous seasons no competition at all found. Above all the judges are the main spoilers especially Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya. It is very irritating sometimes to watch when they always show about savai bhat." Another one slammed the channel and the makers for cashing in on a contestant's background and fake stories around the same. The Twitter user wrote, "They should stick to contestant singing rather than giving focus on their family life. Specially Sawai Bhatt. I think he must b cursing d channel 4 highlighting his poor life rather than concentrating on his singing. Some contestants family members r also given 2much importance."
Yet another Twitter user lashed out comparing it to Ekta Kapoor's TV show, saying, "Yes it's the worst. It almost resembles balaji soaps! Unnecessary romantic connection, stupid comedy, partiality towards Pawan, singing in their comfort zones, bad choice of judges- anu, himesh, Vishal & Neha. Poor poor show."
