On Monday, Shweta Tiwari shared a CCTV footage allegedly showing her ex-husband Abhinav Kohli following her in her society. In the video, Abhinav forcefully snatches away Reyansh from Shweta. In another video, we can see a scared Reyansh trying to hide himself.
As soon as the videos surfaced online, several celebrities reacted and supported Shweta. Sara Khan commented, "Omg," on the post while Ridhima Pandit wrote, "Oh My God Shweta... Be strong.. A mother always knows what's best. (sic)" Srishty Rode's comment read, "This is super sad! Stay Strong."
Ekta Kapoor wrote, "Why is this guy not arrested." Anita H Reddy wrote, "Unreal," while Ashmit Patel commented, "Stay strong sister. Sending you love and light." Teejay Sidhu's note read, "It is a very sick and sad mentality that everyone is shamelessly standing there and watching? And some even walked away There was a struggle and NOBODY tried to help or find out what was going on!"
Karanvir Bohra wrote, "Mommie pls file a case immediately.. this is inhuman... really really can't see this, I can imagine what she must be going thru... pls pls get him off ur life."
Along with the videos, Shweta had written, "Now let the truth Come out!!!! (But this is not going to stay forever on my account, I will eventually delete it, I am posting this right now to reveal the truth, then it goes off) This is why my Child is scared of him! After this incident my child was scared for more than a month, he was so scared that he would not even sleep properly at Night! His hand hurt for more than 2 weeks. Even now he is scared of his papa coming home or meeting him. I can't let my Child go Through this mental trauma... I try my best to keep him calm and happy! But this Horrible Man makes sure my baby's mental health goes back to Square one! If this is not Physical abuse then what is!!!!?? It is the CCTV footage of my society."
Shweta is currently in Cape Town for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. Meanwhile, Abhinav, in a series of videos, has said that Shweta did not inform him where their child is before she left for the shoot of the reality show.
He says in the video, "People are dying due to Covid-19 and third wave is dangerous for kids. But you have left everything at this time to earn money. Is there any shortage of money? Even if you wanted to leave, why didn't you leave the kid with me? I took care of him last time when he was infected with Covid-19."
