The second wave of COVID-19 is proving deadly for India. The plight of Delhi citizens has created panic in the country. Now, virologists are talking about the third wave that might take place in June or July. Many are predicting that the worst hit will be children. In places like Mumbai, there are preparations to make a huge paediatric ward for children in anticipation of this mayhem. Kavita Kaushik took a dig at the Government saying that given the level of unpreparedness for the second wave, one can only imagine that what will be the situation of children. The Central Vista project is also indirectly mentioned in her tweet. As we know, it is plush project for MPs and the cost of it is Rs 20,000 crore. As of now, India is battling a severe crisis where we do not have health infrastructure, vaccination, beds or oxygen. While the affluent is still managing to get some help in time, the situation in small town India is disastrous. This is not the first time that the actress has been critical of the ruling party. Celebrities have joined hands to help people in this crisis. Sonu Sood has his own charitable organisation. Other celebs like Priyanka Sharma and Anushka Sharma have started fundraisers for India.
