Fans of Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev star Mohit Raina can breathe a sigh of relief. He is finally out of hospital. The actor was admitted as he contracted the COVID-19 virus. It looks like there were some issues as he had to be hospitalised. While he had informed that he was in hospital before, the hunk did not mention the name of the place. Mohit Raina spent more than 10 days at Lucknow's Medanta Hospital. While he was hospitalised he came to know about the demise of some of his close ones due to the pandemic. He also lost his co-star and father figure, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal.
Mohit Raina has written a long note on how he survived this phase. He thanked the Internal Medicine team of the hospital for their efforts to care for patients. He wrote, "April ends with a heavy heart , warm smile , gratitude , memories, lessons , Grit and Resolve...Having lost 2 school friends , 2 college friends , 1 ex-colleague in automobile industry ,1 extended family member and A immediate Fatherly figure . My personal Longest stay , can't thank enough the Medanta Lucknow Internal Medicine Team which selflessly works round the clock odd hours in these times With a smile hidden in there PPE kits...God Bless Them."
Mohit Raina who is from Kashmir has witnessed the plight of Kashmiri Pandits in his childhood further wrote, "Having personally witnessed a Genocide, Bhuj earthquake 2001, few natural disasters, 26/11 and Now COVID .... I have come to a realisation which I want to share with all those people who are looking at the roof or window of there room and wondering why us?" He finished it by saying that we must survive through this pain and emerge like the proverbial Pheonix.
