As the show goes on, it only gets better a rarity for almost any show, fiction or otherwise, but then again, A Table For Two Season 2 isn't just any show. This time, Ira Dubey has got two very special guests, Suchitra Pillai and Rohit Roy, and the episode is doubly special given that our host is quite pally with her guests, making it a perfect setting for 'three's company' across 'a table for two'. And with both Suchitra and Rohit having known each other for years and us having watched them for years on screen, their wealth of experience comes to the fore in the form of some precious anecdotes the likes of which hitherto haven't been heard on any chat show.
The seventh episode, which premieres today on ZEE5 Global, sees Rohit Roy initially pulling his dear old friend's leg by revealing why he, the 'Ahmedabad ka ladka', would reverentially treat her 'the England return actress' when they had first met. Moving ahead, Rohit takes another trip down memory lane, reminiscing how Mahesh Bhatt bet on him after he was rejected four times before being cast in his debut TV show, Swabhimaan and how a red jacket changed his life forever. Suchitra also opens up on the legendary way she made her acting debut via a French movie at the nascent age of 22, when she was based in England. The tidbits that Rohit and Suchitra share about their life and journey are too interesting to miss. And that is not all.
