Aditya Narayan recently tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He took to his social media handle and shared the same and also revealed that Shweta Agarwal had also been infected with the virus. And now, his father, veteran singer Udit Narayan has shared an update on his health. The singer and doting father revealed that Aditya has been hospitalised to isolate himself. Shweta Agarwal was also tested positive but did not require hospitalisation and hence had quarantined herself at home. Aditya had been shooting for Indian Idol 12 for the last couple of months. He shared an update on Aditya Narayan's health. He told ETimes, "Aditya got himself admitted; it may have been to quarantine himself. He is better now."
Aditya and Shweta had been updating him with his condition. "I just received a text from Aditya saying 'Papa, don't worry about me. I am okay. Just pray for me'," he added. Meanwhile, a lot of celebs have been tested positive for the virus lately. Just today, Akshay Kumar was tested positive. Aamir Khan, Paresh Rawal, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kartik Aryan, Tara Sutaria, R Madhavan, Fatima Sana Sheikh in Bollywood and in television, actors like Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Karan Jotwani, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Narayani Shatri, Kanchi Singh and others were tested positive.
Earlier, Aditya had shared the news of him testing positive. He put up a picture with Shweta and said, "Hello all! Unfortunately, my wife @shwetaagarwaljha & I have tested positive for Covid-19 & are in quarantine. Please stay safe, continue to follow protocol & do keep us in your prayers. This too shall pass."
Meanwhile, recently, Jay Bhanushali had replaced Aditya on the show as the host for the recent episode of Indian Idol 12. It is being said that Rithvik Dhanjani will be the temporary replacement of Aditya Narayan on Indian Idol.
