Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her next film called Thalaivi which is a biopic on the life of late actress-turned-politician Jayalalithaa fondly known as Amma. The makers of Thalaivi have released their first song called Chali Chali and it essentially features Kangana Ranaut as Jayalalithaa from her acting days. It is a fun song, and we understand from the dance steps, the setting, and costumes that it is for a film in the movie. Kangana Ranaut does an impressive job with expressions, mannerisms, and dance steps from the 60s era. The music of Chali Chali from Thalaivi is given by G V Prakash Kumar while Saindhavi Prakash has sung the song. Irshad Kamil has penned the lyrics of Chali Chali.
Thalaivi also features Arvind Swami, Nassar, Bhagyashree, Samuthirakani, Raj Arjun, to name a few.
