Now, the Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi actress has spoken on the need for population control and also gave a reference to former late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi while talking about the same. It so happened that people have been taking to Twitter to share their opinions about the lack of necessities in these troubled times. A new wave of the pandemic has hit the country and the death toll is rising. And hence, people are expressing their shock on social media.
In some tweets of her, Kangana Ranaut went on to talk about how the growing population is one of the reasons why everyone is suffering. She tweeted out saying, "People are dying because of over population 130 crore Indians on paper but add more 25crores illegal immigrants a third world country but got a great leadership which is leading the world in vaccination drive and fight against corona. But we also need to take responsibility na."
She further gave an example of America saying, "32 cr Americans but land/resources are thrice compared to India,China may have population as much as India but land/resources are almost thrice . Population problem is so severe that Mrs Gandhi forcefully sterilised millions but she was killed. How to handle this country tell me?"
Last but not the least, Kangana Ranaut said that there should be stricter laws as far as population control is concerned. She said people planning for the third child should be either fined or imprisoned. "We need strict laws for population control, enough of vote politics it's true Indira Gandhi lost election and later was killed for taking this issue head on she forcefully sterilised people but looking at crisis today at least there should be fine or imprisonment for a third child," she tweeted.
