BTS achieves two more Guinness World Records with their chartbuster Dynamite

BTS' popular track Dynamite has turned out to be an universal chartbuster as it achieved several accolades across the globe. And it seems that this single is refusing to slow as it has achieved two more Guinness World Records, which are, the K-Pop song with the most weeks on the US Hot 100 and the first spot of Digital Song Sales Billboard charts. With this number, BTS has achieved 20 different Guinness World Records.

BTS' track Dynamite, which released in August 2020, became the first song of the group to debut on the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 and later went on to top Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S chart. It also emerged as the longest-charting Korean artist on the Hot 100 as it stood for 32 weeks beating Psy's famous single Gangnam Style, which was there for 31 weeks.

Dynamite has been special for BTS as they performed this song on several occasions including Grammys as it also gave the group their first nomination. In the last year, the song received over 7,778,950 streams within a day and set the record for the biggest Spotify debut. The popular K-pop band recently grabbed headlines for their stand on the anti-Asian attacks. The group issued a statement, which reads, "What is happening right now cannot be dissociated from our identity as Asians. It required considerable time for us to discuss this carefully and we contemplated deeply on how we should voice our message. But what our voice must convey is clear." They added, "You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together."
