After being part of two successful Netflix anthologies, Lust Stories and Ghost Stories, Karan Johar now brings to us another exciting anthology, Ajeeb Daastaans. The trailer just dropped on the internet and while it promises some powerful performances from the stellar cast, the plot is predictable and something that has become a fad in OTT content churned out in India. The four contrasting stories have relationships and its myriad complexities at the heart of each. Initially titled 'The Other', Ajeeb Daastaans promise to take us on a journey where one would constantly be in the middle of a moral dilemma, deciding between what's right and what's wrong. The collection of four short films is produced by Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment and brings together directors Shashank Khaitan, Raj Mehta, Neeraj Ghaywan and Kayoze Irani. Starring Fatima Sana Shaikh, Jaideep Ahlawat, Armaan Ralhan, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Abhishek Banerjee, Konkana Sensharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shefali Shah and Manav Kaul, Ajeeb Daastaans will stream on Netflix from April 16, 2021.
