After the stupendous success of the immensely entertaining A Table For Two, the equal parts naughty and nice chat show is ready with its second season. This time around, host Ira Dubey brings an eclectic mix of guests, particularly from the OTT space, including Pratik Gandhi, Vikrant Massey, Jim Sarbh, Shahana Goswami, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sayani Gupta, Suchitra Pillai, Saqib Saleem and Aahana Kumra, arriving in pairs of two, eager to spill theirs and each others' secrets, leading to a whole lot of saucy, spicy revelations. The best aspect of A Table For Two is that you'll witness your favourites at their most unguarded, evoking a personal vibe, a side which has remained concealed from the world so far.
For the second episode, which premieres today, April 4, on ZEE5 Global, we have the very talented duo of Jim Sarbh and Shahana Goswami teaming up, and two actors set the screen on fire with the comfort level they share, a camaraderie so apparent that you can see how much at ease they are in everything they do. We also love how The Addams Family theme plays up in the episode, with Jim Sarbh and Shahana Goswami as Gomez and Morticia Addams and Ira Dubey as their daughter, Wednesday Addams. As the conversation steers towards various interesting territories, we see the two actors share their approach towards both cinema and the stage (since both hail from theatre) and their experiences and opinions are equal parts interesting and insightful. The show reaches a fun part when Jim makes cat sounds to suit various situations from seeking attention or making a mating call. While Shahana shares the co-stars she would love to do steamy scenes with. But the two bring the house down when they seduce each other in the sassiest style ever. Jim channels Malik Kafur from Padmaavat while Shahana turns into a seductress as Meenakshi Chatterjee from A Suitable Boy and their acts cannot be missed.
