Popular TV actress Kanchi Singh, who garnered popularity for her portrayal of Gayatri aka Gayu in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, left the show three years back to make her career in Bollywood. And finally after more than three-and-a-half-years, her dream is coming true she will start the shooting of her film in the last week of March. Talking about it, the gorgeous lady told E Times, "I left my show to get into Bollywood and that is happening now after three' and-a-half years. I will start shooting for it in the end of this month in Bhopal. I am glad that I'm returning to acting with a movie; my excitement levels are touching the sky right now."
When asked, what was she doing this long break, the actress answered, "I was totally focusing on myself. I knew the contemporary form of dancing, but I learned Bharatnatyam from a guru because I think it is important too for an actor. Other than that, I lost a lot of weight, started going to the gym regularly, and took care of my diet. I am not following any special diet, of course, it's just ghar ka khana."
She added, "Every individual who aspires to be an actor wants to be a movie star. That's always the goal and the same applies to me too. I am a TV star but now is the time when I'm ready to start my Bollywood journey. But that doesn't mean that if something good comes up in television, I will let it go.
