It looks like we're in for a goosebumps-inducing, adrenaline-pumping, spirit-stirring ride emotions any good sports film should evoke with the Bollywood movie, Toofan, as both Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and leading man Farhan Akhtar appear to be in the form of their lives. Farhan Akhtar looks the part of a street-side-ruffian-turned boxer (though we're still on the fence about his in-ring boxing persona) while Rakesh Mehra seems to have brought his best from as a filmmaker (reminiscent of his Rang De Basanti days) to the table. What's more, they promise to be well supported by Mrunal Thakur, who comes across as Farhan's pillar of support from the teaser, and Paresh Rawal, who seems to have nailed his part as a boxing coach (just as he all but nails every role of his). BL Verdict: Going by the teaser, we'd say it's looking like a pity from the outset that Toofan isn't arriving in cinema halls and going straight to Amazon Prime. This looks to have been tailor-made for the big screen.
