Salaar: Shruti Haasan gushes about Prabhas as she shares her experience of working with the Baahubali star

The pan-Indian star of the entertainment industry Prabhas has collaborated with the KGF maker Prashanth Neel for Salaar and fans are more than excited to see this action drama on the celluloid. While the film is set to hit the screens in 2022, lead actress Shruti Haasan is all praise for her costar Prabhas and calls him a humble person. Talking to PinkVilla, she said, "He is genuinely very chilled out and positive as a person. There are people who pretend to be humble, we have all seen plenty of them. But this is not a pretence, he is genuinely in touch with himself."

Speaking about the film, she added, "The director of KGF, Prashanth Neel is helming this, so it is such a power packed combination with just the two of them. I was really excited when I had heard about the project, I was even a part of it back then. But it all happened very quickly, I was in the middle of other shoots and it kind of happened. When Prashanth told me the story, I really liked it. It's very much in his space of action, drama and emotion. I was really excited to work with Prabhas."

Calling 2o20 one of the most turning points of her career, Shruti Haasan asserted, "Personally I started to channel more towards my creativity as for the first time in years there was no sense of schedule, or having to report anywhere. So for me, I really looked at it in a more productive way, as to what kind of work I want to do, what kind of stuff I want to do for my music and what other talents I want to explore. I finished Krack, after which I shot for a guest star role in my cousin's Amazon series Putham Pudhu Kaalai in Tamil, as well as for Nag Ashwin's Pitta Kathalu. Then Krack released, which did so well. So it has been really amazing."
