Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya has been revived by Rajan Shahi under Director's Kut Productions and Pearl Grey. The first season was a huge hit amongst the masses. Pooja Gor and Arhaan Behll's chemistry as Pratigya and Krishna had struck a chord with their audience. But moreover, the concept was a big hit. Pratigya 2 aired its first episode last night. And wishes were pouring in for the team from friends and colleagues from the industry. Pooja Gor's former flame and noted actor Raj Singh Arora also send his wishes to the team. He shared a video in which he could be seen calling out to Pratigya aka Pooja. He wished the team all the best an hour before the first episode of Pratigya 2 aired on the channel. Last year, the two announced their split after dating for about a decade. Pooja and Raj continue to remain friends. Meanwhile, Pooja Gor opened up on the comeback of Pratigya. She told Indian Express, "My reaction was pretty much that it's about time that it makes a comeback (laughs). The kind of viewership it had, even after it went off air, on Star Utsav and Hotstar, people loved it. I have constantly received messages about the show, how people still consider it iconic. During the pandemic, when Star was showing its reruns, the response it got, I had a feeling that it might come back. But I did not think it would be so soon."
When asked whether she could instantly get into her character given the fact that the show ended nine years ago, the actress said, "Honestly, it doesn't even feel that it's been almost nine years since the show. It seemed like maybe we were shooting for it and took a break in the pandemic. On the first day, when me and Arhaan gave our first shot, it was so easy, it just flowed. I feel it's a muscle memory now. It's amazing how smoothly the transition happens on set. Also, with so many of the same team members around, it seems like a family get-together for us. Every day we are reliving the memories and usually keep having a lot of deja vu moments."
