Popular TV actor Sahil Anand, who is also seen in films like Student of the Year and Student of the Year 2, shared a cute pic of him and wife to announce that they are expecting their first child. The couple, who tied the knot in 2011, received congratulatory messages from their friends and stars after sharing the news. While Ankit Mohan commented, "This is hugeeeeeeeee...Love to both of you The baby who is still growing is having a baby now... wow loved it @sahilanandofficial." Hina Khan wrote, "Ooohoooo congratulations guys."

Sahil Anand was last seen in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. The actor earlier revealed the reason of quitting the soap opera and told SpotBoye, "I wanted to quit Kasautii because I had other projects coming up, and my track wasn't resuming. But my new project got pushed to a later date, and I received a call from the makers to come back for the last track. So, I thought why not. I did get to know that it's going off-air. This show is actually very close to my heart. We've all become like a family now. It's one memory that will always stay with me."
He added, "I think my decision was right at the right time. I actually thought I'd give it another one or two months but then the lockdown happened, and the storyline took another path. In the meantime, I got offers from various other projects, so I was considering those. But right now this one project I have has been pushed to either November or December. So, what happens, happens for good!" He also revealed what kind of roles he wants to do in the future. He said, "I'm looking for something in the web space. I want to explore more on the web series front. Although I'm open to any interesting show, I'd love to play a character that's raw, something real."
