In a past interview to IMDb, Suniel Shetty shared some anecdotes from the film. He had said, "I don't know how the film was made, it just happened. We arrived on the sets every morning, the costumes were basically just stretched and given to us, not even ironed." He also revealed that the director made them sleep on newspaper for noon naps. Suniel further added that it was Priyadarshan's (the director) idea to ensure that the actors look and stay uncomfortable to do justice to the role. Hence there was no makeup as well. On how the film became such a cult, Suniel also shared that Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and him would be constantly together, rehearsing their scenes for hours on end and improvising on the go. "Priyan sir is one man who knows when to say cut," he had added.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Shailesh Lodha breaks his silence on alleged tiff with Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most successful shows on Indian TV. Started in 2008, it is also one of the longest running shows. Now there were recent reports of a rift between Shailesh Lodha aka Tarak and Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal. The reports said that they are not on talking terms and don't even smile at each other once their shot is over. They head straight to their vanity vans.
Now, Shailesh Lodha has responded to the alleged rift. Talking to Dainik Bhaskar, he said that he wants to know who is spreading these rumours. He said that there nothing wrong between Dilip Joshi and him. He also said that their real-life friendship is much stronger than the bond they have on-screen. According to him, they share the same makeup room and people on the set call them 'best buddies'.
He added that while they have different personalities, humour is common between them. He said that they have a lot of fun on set and in so many years, they haven't had any 'clash of thoughts'. He hoped the equation between Dilip and him remains the same forever.
Earlier, in an interview with Sight and Insight Youtube channel, Dilip spoke about spoke several aspects of life, his inspiration and driving force of acting. He also spoke about the most important topic of Bollywood currently which is nepotism. He cleared that he never faced any instance in his professional career, so he would be the wrong person to comment on it. He also spoke about Bhavya Gandhi and Raj Anadkat. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra will be seen together in Shershaah, a biopic on the life of martyred Captain Vikram Batra. The two have grown closer during the shoot of Shershaah. Lately, after the lockdown was lifted, Kiara was spotted at Sidharth Malhotra's residence a lot of times. They have their other projects in the pipeline, however, Kiara Advani is almost spotted every week visiting her 'good friend' at his residence. The Indoo Ki Jawaani actress and even the Jabariya Jodi actor had rebuffed the reports of them being together. When asked about her Jugg Jugg Jeeyo and Mr Lele costar, Kiara Advani said, "Varun Dhawan, is a notorious boy but has a heart of gold. As a co-star I had a wonderful time working with him because he has soooo many ideas and so many variations on how he wants to do a scene. It's like a film that Raj is making and then there is a parallel film that Varun decides to make. So we had fun. We just wanted to keep on giving more shots while Raj had already got his shot in the first take. But he was kind enough to give us more takes."
On the other hand, while talking about Kartik Aaryan, Kiara said that the have just begun bonding and that she needs more time to know him better. "Kartik, again is great fun on the set. But I have to still work with him a little more to get to know him better. We have just started working, so I look forward to it," Kiara added.
Kiara also spoke about working with Akshay Kumar with whom she worked in Laxmii and Good Newwz. She said, "Akshay sir, is somebody who is continuously working and never stops. That is inspiring given his experience, age, stardom, everything. That's the best example. So his energy to keep going and to keep working... I love that about him."

Movies being inspired from each other, is nothing new, and has been happening in every film industry across the planet from the time cinema began. However, such cases still grab our attention, especially when we find out about them much later, and particularly, if both movies have been loved by the audience, but the similarity is so obscure that it has to be pointed out by someone in the know. Something similar transpired when BollywoodLife had exclusively interviewed Allu Sirish and he disclosed to us that Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan, directed by Kabir Khan, was (loosely) based on a blockbuster of Telugu cinema's megastar, Chiranjeevi. In fact, the revelation came out of the blue, when we were having a lighthearted discussion with the actor about his best memories with his mother.
Initially reminiscing a fun incident with his mother, that he vividly remember till date, Allu Sirish said, "I remember this incident, when I was six or seven years old, we had gone to a market and I got lost there and she was searching for me and after twenty minutes she found me. I was silently standing where I got misplaced. Then she asked, 'Why didn't you tell people that you were lost and waiting for your mother?' I replied, 'If they knew I was lost, they might have kidnapped me and I knew you'd come back, that's why I was silent.'"
Upon pointing out that he was pretty smart at such a young age and it could also be all the cinematic influence having been raised in Telugu cinema's esteemed Allu-Konidela film family, he added, "Yeah, I was quite a smart kid at such a young age, it seems. People just tell me that. See, there was also a movie of Chiranjeevi sir (his uncle) called Pasivadi Pranam, where the kid gets kidnapped, a small kid. I saw that movie and it just (struck me at that time)... And by the way, Bajarangi Bhaijaan was based on Pasivadi Pranam. The kid can't speak in that, and somebody kidnaps her. I saw that movie as a kid and I thought that if ten people knew I was lost, someone would kidnap me or something like that."

BTS’s Dynamite equals Psy’s Gangnam Style’s Hot 100 Billborad Longevity record

Ajaz Khan taken to hospital by NCB officials for drug test

Sunil, I am so sorry, I was the worst dancer." She went on to reveal that she wasn't really interested in movies and would never rehearse her dialogues or dance steps.

Meanwhile, earlier, Sanya Malhotra had opened up on her character Sandhya in Pagglait. In an interview with Mid-Day, Sanya said, "I realised I was a lot like Sandhya. She was looking for external validation, something that I did too. I was judgmental and critical of myself. I used to not like any of my work and would never like to see myself on screen. But 2020 was a year of retrospection, and that's when I realised that I was being too harsh on myself. When I watched Pagglait, I told myself, 'You have done a good job."
Sanya had also opened up on how she kept her aspirations of being an actor to herself for the fear of people not taking her dreams seriously. The Badhaai Ho actress is shooting for her next in Bhopal. She has Love Hostel and Meenakshi Sundareshwar in her kitty as of now.

Did Emma Watson really storm off from the sets of This Is The End? Director Seth Rogen clarifies
Emma Watson is one of the most popular actresses we have in the world of entertainment. She ruled hearts as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films series and many critically and commercially acclaimed films such as My Week With Marilyn, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Colonia, The Circle, Regression to name a few. The actress also featured in an American Apocalyptic Comedy film called This Is The End directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. There were reports that Emma Watson had stormed off from the sets after she did not like a scene that they were filming. However, Seth Rogen who also acted in This Is The End, refuted the same. Rogen had spoken up about the issue in an interview and it was taken off as Emma Watson stormed off the sets of the film. Talking about the scene from This Is The End, it featured Danny McBride accepting his cannibal instincts and Channing Tatum playing his prisoner on a leash. Recalling and addressing the incident in an interview with British GQ, Seth Rogen had said, "I mean, I don't look back on that and think, 'How dare she do that?' You know? I think sometimes when you read something, when it comes to life it doesn't seem to be what you thought it was."
As soon as he said that various media portals took up his statement and called out Emma Watson for being unprofessional. Seth Rogen released a statement defending Emma Watson and said that his quote was misrepresented and misconstrued. "I want to correct a story that has emerged from a recent interview I gave. It misrepresents what actually happened. Emma Watson did not 'storm off the set' and it's sh***y that the perception is that she did," he said while adding that the scene which has become the talk of the town these days wasn't in the script earlier. Since it was changed drastically and as the film progressed, it was something that she did not agree with. He slammed the portals reporting that it was uncool on Emma Watson's part to behave in such a way and calling her unprofessional and whatnot.
He heaped praises on her for speaking her mind out and having a heart-to-heart talk with him on the same. "She and I spoke on the night; it was overall a sh***y situation and it must have been hard for her to say something and I'm very happy and impressed that she did," Seth revealed and also added that eventually, they agreed for her to not be a part of the end scene. Indian Idol, the popular singing reality TV show, has been entertaining the audience for more than a decade by bringing forth the hidden talents of our country on a national stage, allowing them to showcase their unmatched skills. Though the show gives aspiring singers a huge platform to rise and shine like a star, it also allows the audience to actively participate, hence, giving them the supreme power to make or break a star. But it seems like the makers of Indian Idol 12 give two hoots about their angry and upset fans.
Lately, Indian Idol 12 has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. From being biased towards Sawai Bhatt and showing Nachiket Lele the exit door to faking a love story between Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal, angry fans have been expressing their displeasure over the current happenings on the singing reality show.
Over the past few years, it has been observed that the Indian reality TV shows have reduced themselves to sob stories, romantic angles and on-stage rivalries. Salman Khan's Radhe: Industry insider reveals what to expect from Your Most Wanted Bhai's Eid 2021 release [Exclusive]
Bollywood is back in action and how. March 2021 has seen releases like Roohi, Mumbai Saga, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and the Saina biopic hit the theatres and very soon we will see Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi take over. But one of the most awaited films of the year 2021 remains to be Salman Khan's Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film brings the superhit director-actor duo of Prabhu Deva and Salman Khan back after their 2009 outing Wanted and 2019 actioner Dabanng 3. And to make things more exciting for the audience, Salman kept his promise to meet his fans on Eid 2021 in his larger than life avatar. Radhe is slated for a 13 May 2021 release and just like any Salman Khan Eid release, the hype was inevitable. But will this film be able to give Salman fans what they expect out of their most wanted bhai's movie? Well Bollywood Life has learnt from a well placed industry insider about a few important aspects that one can look forward to from Salman Khan's Radhe.
The insider who has seen the rushes of the film, tells us that it is the perfect 'Bhai style extravaganza'. "Radhe has all that his fans love and expect when a Salman Khan film releases in theatres. It has action, drama, dance, fun moments et al. The film is laced with the right hooks - be it the story, Salman's fitter than ever avatar or his camaraderie with the supporting cast," reveals the industry insider. Talking about the buzz around the film in industry circles, we hear that Radhe is being touted as 'the film' that will truly help Bollywood get back on its feet. "Salman's films have unfailingly been crowd pullers and once the teasers and trailer of Radhe is out, you can expect the wait for the film to reach another level. If any thing can defeat the pall of gloom that descended over Bollywood due to Covid, it is Radhe," said the industry expert.
But not all is hunky dory for the film. The one thing that all Bollywoodwaalahs who have come to know of Radhe are talking about is the vast cast. The film is filled with names and faces that are a regular in Salman or Prabhu Deva films. And that's something that may be a cause of worry. "It is often difficult to give enough screen space to all characters and establish them enough during the course of the film. This does injustice to the story, disturbs the storyline with the typical 'too much happening too soon' syndrome and affects the viewer experience. So it will all now depend on how well and crisply the film is edited," said the industry insider.
Well, it may be recalled that it was Wanted, which gave Salman's film career a new lease of life. It remains to be seen if Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai is able to shake up the box office and give a new lease of life to Bollywood. We have our fingers crossed.

Aditi Rao Hydari compares herself to a hungry kid – here’s why
Aditi Rao Hydari is one of the most beautiful actresses we have in Indian cinema. She has been acting in films for a decade and half now, but she admits she still feels like a newcomer at the start of every film.
"With every film, I feel like a newcomer. When I walk into the set, it's a new character, new pace, new feeling, new co-stars, new house, new set, new location everything is new," she told IANS.
In fact, the actress adds that she is often clueless on the set of a new film.
"So, when I walk down the set, when they say action, I feel like I don't know what I am going to do. I have elephants in my stomach! I don't know the girl that I am playing, if I can do justice to her or not, whether my director will be happy or not, whether I will be able to breathe life into his vision and see a smile on his face," she says.
However, Aditi says that everything changes once the cameras start rolling.
"But once the camera starts rolling, I give the first shot and I feel like this is my home, this is my love, my father, my mother. These are the everyday clothes that I pull out from my closet. It just feels okay. It feels like it's yours. Till that happens, it is scary!" she says.
Aditi says that right before a film starts, she is very excited. "Two days before I start filming, I am like a hungry kid. I can't sit quietly. You know how a hungry kid behaves? I behave like that," she says.
Aditi started out in the 2006 Malayalam film Prajapathi and came to Bollywood with Delhi-6 three years later. The actress, who was recently seen in the OTT-released film The Girl On The Train, will next be seen in the Tamil film Hey Sinamika, the multilingual Maha Samudram and the OTT anthology Ajeeb Daastaans.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife Aaliya buries the hatchet with brother-in-law Shamas after accusing him of physical violence
Nawazuddin Siddiqui's wife Aaliya recently had a change of heart and said that she does not intend to divorce her husband, after sending a legal notice last year. She cited the reason that Nawazuddin has been taking good care of her children and enquiring about her health. And Aaliya has now buried the hatchet with her brother-in-law Shamas whom she had accused of physical violence.
Aaliya along with Shamas and her two kids, Yaani and Shora, went to Nawaz's farmhouse in Kasara. They celebrated the festival of colours, Holi, and had loads of fun together. It is being said that Nawaz is also expected to join the family in the next few days.
"Yes, Shamas too is here. We all met very warmly. In fact, we three- Yaani, Shora and I- played Holi with Shamas, today," Aaliya told TOI.
When Shamas was asked about his reconciliation with Aaliya, he said, "Ups and downs are a part of life. We all learn from experiences. Woh waqt guzar gaya. I will do anything for the family. It's all fine between us now. All's well. Nawaz bhai is likely to join us on April 5 or 6. And yes, we played Holi together this morning. Reacting to Aaliya withdrawing the divorce, Nawaz had earlier told Bombay Times, "I prefer not to talk about my personal life, and I have never spoken ill of anyone. I don't let negativity and hatred get to me. She is still the mother of my children, and we have shared a decade of our life together. I will always support her no matter what. Mera farz banta hai ke main unka khayal rakhu (It is my responsibility to provide for them). Aaliya and I are not on the same page, we may not agree with each other, but our children have always been my priority. They should not suffer because of us. Rishtey bante bighadte rehte hai, unka asar bacchon pe nahi hona chahiye (Relationships have their ups and downs, but that shouldn't affect the children). I want to be a good father."

BTS oppose anti-Asian racism: We endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look
BTS issued a statement on Monday night strongly condemning the recent anti-Asian violence and hate in the U.S. They also shared their own experiences of facing racism.
They released a statement that read, "We send our deepest condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. We feel grief and anger."
The statement also read, "We have endured expletives without reason and were mocked for the way we look. We were even asked why Asians spoke in English."

The group also didn't want to make it about them and said that their experiences are 'inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks'. They wrote in the statement, "We cannot put into words the pain of becoming the subject of hatred and violence for such a reason. Our own experiences are inconsequential compared to the events that have occurred over the past few weeks. But these experiences were enough to make us feel powerless and chip away our self-esteem."

What is happening right now cannot be dissociated from our identity as Asians. It required considerable time for us to discuss this carefully and we contemplated deeply on how we should voice our message.
But what our voice must convey is clear.
We stand against racial discrimination. We condemn violence. You, I and we all have the right to be respected. We will stand together.

Ram Setu: Akshay Kumar shares FIRST LOOK as an archaeologist in the film; asks fans' feedback
Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood. He has been shooting back to back and we will soon get to see him on the big screen very soon. He had recently completed shooting for Atrangi Re and Bacchan Pandey and is now shooting for Ram Setu. Today, the actor has shared his first look from the film. Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of an archaeologist and his look from the film will leave you excited to watch the film. Ram Setu also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha. Akshay Kumar had announced the film on Diwali last year by releasing posters on his social media. Now with everything planned, the makers are busy ensuring all the safety protocols are in place for a smooth shooting experience. Producer Vikram Malhotra says, "For Ram Setu, there will be strict protocols in place, including travel and stay bio-bubbles, frequent health checks and a professional agency on-board to manage these protocols all through. Given the complexity of the story and ensuing locations, VFX etc, the production will be spread across multiple schedules over the next few months." Malhotra is taking notes from the past experiences to go forward. "Akshay as well as Abundantia Entertainment have been fortunate to have successfully completed filming, post-production and even release of several of our productions through the pandemic period. So there is enough learning and experience to manage production with mitigated and controlled Covid-19 related risks"

Kanika Kapoor recalls being trolled for testing COVID-19 positive after attending a party post London visit
As you might be aware, Kanika Kapoor was in the news last year after she became one of the first Indian celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19. She has now opened up about it. "It was a tough time. It was more shocking than anything else, to see people just say anything without knowing the reality of the situation," Kanika tells IANS.
Last year, after the 42-year-old had announced testing positive for Coronavirus for the first time, it was reported that the singer-songwriter had attended high-profile parties, instead of going into isolation after arriving from London. She had faced flak for not revealing her travel history and the Uttar Pradesh government had filed a case against her.
"It was really sad to see that people wanted to be so mean, despite knowing someone is so unwell. I (really) think it was quite bad and mean," she says. "I hope people learn from it and understand what they say and what they mean. I really hope that after this pandemic, they would all get a better perspective and be more helpful," she adds.
The pandemic, Kanika says, has heavily impacted artists, and feels it forced them to start talking about ownership of their music.
"It was very tough because there was no daily income, and that's what an artiste depends on. It made us think about the fact that all of the rights of our music are with a music company. I think it is high time that musicians start owning some of their publishing," says Kanika.
"It is a sad situation not just singers, even lyricists, composers and the musical players of the song; If there's a situation like this, like the pandemic, where they don't have their wages because of no live shows, there's nothing to do. They have nothing to fall back on in situations like this, and that is sad," adds Kanika, who recently released her single called 2 seater car in collaboration with Indian-American musician Happy Singh.

Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab's trailer was released yesterday. The film is a Telugu remake of Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang starrer Pink and stars Anjali, Nivetha Thomas and Ananya Nagalla in the lead. The trailer of Vakeel Saab was launched in the down in South. However, the fans couldn't contain their excitement and it was all chaos at the Sangam Sharath theatre where the trailer was released for the audience to watch. Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan's film, Vakeel Saab's trailer was released in a select few theatres so that the fans could enjoy watching it. However, what was supposed to be a celebration turned into a ruckus and chaos. The Vakeel Saab trailer was released at 4 pm, but his fans had reached beforehand to pay a tribute to the actor. They performed a puja for the actor and even offered coconut for the well-being of the actor and his upcoming film.
The makers of Vakeel Saab had decided to treat fans and celebrate Holi at the same time. However, it got very chaotic. The windowpanes were shattered, however, that did not stop the fans from entering the halls. They rushed inside despite several people being injured after falling on the broken glass, causing a stampede. The reports state that several people are seriously injured. Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab was earlier scheduled to release on 15th May 2020 but was postponed due to COVID-19. It is now scheduled for a 9 April 2021 release, which is a couple of days away. Maidaan actor Ajay Devgn REFUTES the reports of him being in a brawl; blames it on a doppelganger
Yesterday, Ajay Devgn grabbed headlines for allegedly being in a brawl wherein he was being beaten up. The video of two men fighting in Delhi's Aerocity mall took social media by a storm when one of the men was mistaken for being Ajay Devgn. While his team issued a statement denying the same, Ajay Devgn took to his Twitter handle to put the speculative reports to rest too. Late in the night, the Maidaan actor tweeted out saying that he had been getting calls concerning the same. "Some 'doppelg nger' of mine seems to have got into trouble. I've been getting concerned calls. Just clarifying, I've not traveled anywhere. All reports regarding me being in any brawl are baseless. Happy Holi," he tweeted out clarifying the reports. Earlier, Ajay Devgn's team had denied the reports saying that the actor did not visit Delhi after promoting his film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior last year. They denied the reports of Ajay being in a brawl, calling it baseless and untrue. The team also clarified that he has been shooting for his next films, Mayday, Maidaan and Gangubai Kathiawadi in the maximum city. They added that the last the Golmaal Returns actor set foot in the capital city was 14 months ago.
Talking about the incident, two arrests have been made. Two men, identified as Taranjit Singh (31), a resident of Janakpuri and Naveen Kumar (29), a resident of Chhawla village, were thrashing each other after their vehicles slightly scratched one another. The incident was recorded on a camera at the mall.
Talking about his film shootings in the city, Maidaan is a sports biopic in which the actor plays football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. He will be next seen in MayDay alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rakulpreet Singh. Ajay Devgn is also a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt in the lead. His other is a multi-starrer Bhuj The Pride of India, an OTT release. Apart from that, Ajay also has SS Rajamouli's RRR in which he makes an extended cameo appearance. It marks his debut in the Telugu film industry.

From Haathi Mere Saathi to Bunty Aur Babli 2: 5 films that have again been postponed due to the 2nd COVID-19 wave
After theatres reopened, a slew of Bollywood movies were lined up for the release. The producers of big ticket movies like Roohi, Mumbai Saga, Saina and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar put up a brave front and decided to screen their movies in theatres. Though the box office collection of the first was reasonable given the circumstance, the second, barely passed muster while the last two registered disastrous box office numbers, it was being considered as baby steps towards a better tomorrow for the film industry. But, owing to the fresh rise in COVID -19 cases across the country, the release dates of films like Bunty Aur Babli 2, Haathi Mere Saathi and others have again been postponed.
Haathi Mere Saathi
Rana Daggubati's ambitious jungle adventure drama, Haathi Mere Saathi, which was set to release on March 26, has been postponed due to rising coronavirus cases. However, the film's Tamil and Telugu versions, Kaadan and Aranya, released on their scheduled dates. However, the decision of releasing Kaadan and Aranya can have adverse effects, too, feels certain trade analysts.
Bunty Aur Babli 2
The release date of Rani Mukerji and Saif Ali Khan starrer Bunty Aur Babli 2 has also been postponed owing to a fresh rise in COVID-19 infections. The film was earlier slated to hit theatres on April 23. A new release date for the film is yet to be announced.
D Company
Ram Gopal Varma's D Company has also been postponed. The filmmaker had tweeted, informing his fans about the update. "Due to the sudden severe Covid rise in many parts of the country and also amid continuous news of new lockdowns, we at SPARK decided to postpone the release of D COMPANY ..A new date will be announced ASAP #DCompany @SparkSagar1," RGV wrote.
Flight
The action thriller film, Flight, starring Mohit Chadda in the lead, was slated to release on March 19. However, it got postponed, but not because of COVID-19 restrictions. The makers decided to push the film's release date to April 2 since they wished to give it a good opening weekend. The film is directed by debutant Suraj Josh. It also features Pavan Malhotra, Zakir Hussain, Viveck Vaswani, Shibani Bedi, Pritam Singh, and others in supporting roles.
No Means No
No Means No was scheduled to release on March 22. But due to coronavirus restrictions, the release date has now been pushed to November 5, 2021. No Means No is a cross-genre Indo-Polish film. It tells the story of an East Indian man falling in love after traveling to Poland to compete in a skiing championship. It stars debutant Dhruv Verma along with Gulshan Grover, Natalia Bak, Nazia Hussain, Milind Joshi and others.

Basic Instinct actress Sharon Stone REVEALS she was sexually abused by grandfather
In a shocking development, Sharon Stone, a popular veteran Hollywood actress revealed that she was sexually molested by her grandfather. Narrating the horrifying details in her new memoir, The Beauty of Living Twice, Sharon Stone revealed that she and her sister were molested by her grandfather as toddlers. The Ratched actress said that she and her sister were put in a room with her grandfather and her grandmother would lock the door on them. He would then molest them, she shared. The Basic Instinct actress's grandfather died when she was fourteen. She recalled poking into the casket to make sure he was dead. "I poked him, and the bizarre satisfaction that he was at last dead hit me like a ton of ice. I looked at [Kelly] and she understood; she was 11, and it was over," Sharon Stone shared.
The actress also recalled having suffered a near-death experience in 2001. For the unversed, Sharon Stone had a severe cerebral hemorrhage stroke during which the doctors told her that she could die if the bleeding didn't stop. The actress had been bleeding for nine days straight. "The room was so silent. When the room is so silent and no one's running around trying to fix you, that's when you realize how near death is and how serious everything is." Sharon recalled. The actress added, "I found out that I wasn't the only one who'd had this kind of experience. It's so profound. And I know that scientists feel that it's a scientific thing that happens. And spiritualists believe that it's a spiritual thing. Personally, I'm with (Albert) Einstein, who believed that it's both."
After facing death and beating it to life, The New Pope actress revealed that she revisited the priorities in her life. "I'm in a really grateful place. When I was a kid, I always wanted to have a house full of kids running and screaming and dogs, and I got it. And I feel very blessed and happy about the life I got. We're happy together, and what's better than that?" the actress shared while adding that she tells her friends to be themselves and stand centered in their lives.

Talking about Swades, the film was one of the most critically acclaimed ones of the time. It narrated the story of a young NRI working at NASA's technological forefront. He returns to his roots in India which leads him to a rural part of India. Seeing the plight of his country and countrymen, he begins a journey to better the conditions of the rural portions of his country. It talked about the generation of electricity using a hydro-power plant. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, Swades also starred Gayatri Joshi, Kishori Ballal, Rajesh Vivek, Makarand Deshpande, Lekh Tandon, Daya Shankar Pandey to name a few. Swades picked the National Awards for Best Male Playback Singer and Best cinematography.

Tuesday Trivia: Did you know Kareena Kapoor Khan rejected THIS Hrithik Roshan starrer which turned out to be a blockbuster?
Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most successful actresses we have in the industry today. And she has been that way since many years now. She's been a part of several hit films like Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Jab We Met, 3 Idiots, Omkara and many more. But there was one film which she rejected and that turned out to be a blockbuster. We are talking about Hrithik Roshan's debut film, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai.
She spoke about it many years later in an interview with Rajeeev Masand. She had said that it was her decision. "Honestly, at that time nobody really calculated, and nobody really knew whether it was my parents, my mother, or me -- I don't know if anybody weighed pros and cons. It was just what I thought was right. There was never really that kind of calculation. I also believe in destiny; what's meant to happen is going to happen," said the actress.
She went on to add, "Of course, I went on to do so many films with Hrithik after that. We did like four or five films together, and I think that Refugee was just perfect. I got a chance to be slightly non-commercial. I somehow felt that it was more suited for me at that time."
But it seems there was more to it. In an interview to The Quint, director Rakesh Roshan had said that there were some differences between himself and Kareena's mother, actor Babita. It seems she was interfering. "Kareena's mother Babita, who I have a lot of respect for, said, 'Don't begin with a song, she's not ready. Start with dialogues'," the filmmaker had recalled.
He also said, "Babita was a little adamant about it. So I said, 'This way I cannot work because tomorrow you might say, don't do this, don't do that. I think it's better we part ways because we are good friends.' So we parted ways."
As you know, Ameesha Patel was roped in to play the lead role and the rest is history.
