Pathan: Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-John Abraham's action entertainer to release in 2022

Well, it looks the fans of Shah Rukh Khan have to wait for some more time to see his magic on silver screen as highly-anticipated action-entertainer, Pathan will hit the screens in 2022. Trade analyst confirmed the news on his Twitter account as he wrote, "#BreakingNews... #Pathan - which marks #SRK's return to the big screen after a hiatus - will release in 2022... Not 2021... #SRK collaborates with leading production house #YRF after a long gap."

Earlier, a source close to Pathan revealed to BollywoodLife about the delay in announcing the project and said, "Big and important film for YRF and SRK. They didn't want to go the traditional route and release a poster. They wanted to announce this earlier this year but due to Covid restrictions, the actual plan went haywire." The source added, "Now, with some dhamakedaar sequences shot, Shah Rukh Khan and YRF will make an announcement soon with a special video tease that will blow audiences' minds and give them the real feel of what is in store."

Reportedly, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will perform action sequences on the top of Burj Khalifa as a source told PinkVilla, "The idea is to go one notch above what's already done so far. Apart from Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious franchise, not many films have been shot inside Burj Khalifa, and Pathan will be among the first few Indian films (probably the first) to have actual visuals of the tower from inside. A big scale action scene centered around Burj Khalifa is in the offing from the team of Pathan. It's car, bike, guns, blasts, hand to hand combats get ready for action, that's sleek and stylish, at international repute in Pathan."
