Today morning Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan welcomed a baby boy around 9 am. While we saw all the fans of the celebrity couple flooding the social media with their congratulatory messages, Bebo's sister and actress Karisma Kapoor shared her excitement of becoming masi again by sharing a throwback picture of Kareena and wrote, "That's my sis when she was a new born and now she's a mama once again !! And I'm a masi again so excited #goodwishes #congratulations #onlylove."
Earlier today, Randhir Kapoor shared his happiness and also revealed Taimur Ali Khan's reaction and told TOI, "Oh! He's delighted. He is very happy about having a little brother. In fact, even Saif is excited. He is very happy, so is my daughter, and I just bless them all from the core of my heart." He added, "I have not seen my grandson yet but I have spoken to Kareena and she's told me she's alright, and the baby is healthy, too. I am very happy, in fact, over the moon to become a grandfather again. I am eager to see the little one. I am already praying for his well-being."
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha along with Aamir Khan. Talking about the film, we all know that it is a remake of Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump. The latter was based on a 1986's novel by the same name, written by Winston Groom. Tom Hanks played the lead character alongside Robert Wright and Gary Sinise. The movie received several accolades and was the biggest hit of that year. Forrest Gump swept the Academy Awards for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Visual Effects and Best Film Editing. Meanwhile, Hanks was applauded for his performance with the Best Actor Oscar award. The movie also performed well at the Golden Globes, People's Choice Awards, and Young Artist Awards. It is written by popular actor Atul Kulkarni and directed by Secret Superstar helmer Advait Chandan. She will also be seen in Karan Johar's Takht, which features Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in key roles.
