Indian 2 and 2.0 director Shankar to collaborate with THIS Tollywood star for his next pan-India project?

One of the maverick Indian filmmakers, Shankar, who is known for delivering blockbusters like Endhiran, Indian, 2.0, I, Nanban and others, is reportedly collaborating with the Magadheera actor Ram Charan for his upcoming mega-budget pan-India project, which is touted to be a historical drama. Apparently, the Shankar narrated the script to the megastar and he has given an official nod to the director. The pan-India project will be produced by Dil Raju and will release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan will be next seen in SS Rajamouli's RRR. In the motion poster of the film, we saw Ram Charan as the element of fire and Jr. NTR as water. When asked about this, SS Rajamouli replied, "Fire and Water are the two opposing elements. One can destroy the other. But if they come together and create steam, the force generated can run the motor of the world." The filmmaker hinted that they come together against the Britishers. The director also said that since the duo are good friends it was easy for him to bring them on board. "They didn't even take a minute to say yes," revealed the filmmaker.

The magnum opus has already started setting benchmarks as it broke the pre-release business of India's biggest blockbuster, Baahubali 2 (also directed by SS Rajamouli) by a huge margin. All the rights of the film have been bought at record prices and reports suggest that it has already earned over Rs. 400 crore from South India and overseas markets alone. Produced by DVV entertainment, the film also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris and Shriya Sharan in key roles. The film is set to hit the screens on October 13 at the box office.
