Chehre: Amitabh Bachchan-Emraan Hashmi's courtroom drama to release on THIS DATE; Rhea Chakraborty's name missing from the poster

After a long wait, Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi's Chehre to come out in theatres on April 30, 2021. Today, the announcement was made by the makers. Both the main actors have shared stills on their social media handles. The film is being directed by Rumi Jafry. Chehre is a courtroom drama with elements of mystery and thrill. The film also stars Siddhant Kapoor, Krystle D'Souza and Rhea Chakraborty. Now, the name of Rhea Chakraborty cannot be seen in the poster of the movie. We feel that the makers do not want extreme reactions on social media. Chehre intrigues us mostly because of the kind of look that Amitabh Bachchan has in the movie.

Talking about Chehre, Rumi Jafry told MiD-Day, "I am confident she will get through this phase. Everybody around will advise you to be brave, but only the one going through knows how difficult it is. Time is the best healer; with time, she will be fine. She is a talented artiste and will be ready to bounce back." The actress had revealed her first look from the film in June 2019. He had also spoken about how the team was keen to release it in theatres to support distributors and exhibitors. He further told MiD-Day, "Anand Pandit (film's producer) has decided to pursue a theatrical release. We need to support the exhibitors."

In between, there were rumours that an online streaming platform had cliched the deal to show the movie. It also said that the producers were getting a huge amount because of the headlines around Rhea Chakraborty.
