The pandemic has been a tough time period for everyone across the globe. Nobody would have thought that they would be caged like the animals in the zoo for such a long time. However, ARMY had been living in the hopes of getting to enjoy their idols' music. And BTS did not disappoint. In fact, if anything, the boy band surprised with c full-fledged English song, Dynamite. Fresh off their BE (Essential Edition) release, BTS was invited by MTV for an appearance on one of the episodes of Unplugged. Got a chance of watching it and boy, am I glad? What's it about?
MTV is one of the biggest channels across the globe. MTV's Unplugged is a special program that hosts celebrities and lets the audience enjoy their favourite musicians, singers playing LIVE in acoustics. And MTV hosted BTS, the most popular K-pop boy band. It will be telecasted on MTV (USA) on February 23 at 9 pm in the US. BTS' MTV Unplugged will also be streamed on Voot Select on February 24, 2021, from 7:30 AM onwards in India. Its television premier will be aired on Vh1 India at the same time.
What's HOT?
Well, for starters EVERYTHING. It's BTS! We don't want to give spoilers but there's a special surprise by the BTS members. Special messages for the ARMY by each member and the boys singing for y'all. And it's right from their hearts which will make you gush evermore. BTS have ended the episode with a bang with one of their most popular singles of recent times, Dynamite.
What's not?
TBH, we needed more songs and a lengthier episode. Come on, it's BTS, in their element.
BL Verdict:
The pandemic is still here but not forever. However, BTS is here and they are here to stay forever. BTS' MTV Unplugged was one helluva breather and a much-needed one for the ARMY, and in fact, for everyone. For their presentability, their heartfelt conversations, their love for ARMY, I am going with 5 stars.
