Bigg Boss 14 contestant Sonali Phogat has reported a theft of valuables including gold and Rs 10 lakh cash from her house in Hisar, Haryana. She also possessed a licensed revolver which is also stolen. In her police complaint, Sonali alleged that she was in Chandigarh when the house was burgled on February 9. On February 15 when she returned she found the locks broken said the police. In an interview with the PTI, the police revealed that a 22 bore licensed pistol and eight cartridges, Gold and silverware, a silver pot, and Rs 10 lakh were found missing from her house. The police also revealed that there were CCTV cameras but the thieves had taken away the digital video recorder (DVR) that contained footage. HTM Station House Officer (SHO) Sukhjit said that the theft case is being probed.
Sonali Phogat was known for her closeness with Aly Goni. She had revealed that she had feelings for Aly who is much younger than her. Post she was evicted, Sonali was trolled for liking a person of her son's age. She revealed that she made it a point to give a befitting reply to all these trolls every time. In an interview with ETimes, she spoke about being hurt to read such things. She said, "Obviously, I was very hurt reading how I was trolled for showing affection for Aly. They abused me saying Aly was much younger to me and almost my son's age. But I replied to each of them saying if you like someone, how does age come into play?. I have no hesitation in confessing my true feelings and I don't regret admitting that I liked Aly."
She also said that she could have hidden these feelings from Aly but did not do so. Sonali Phogat shared, "I did not play the game by lying. Whatever I thought, I shared with everyone. When in two weeks, I was told to leave the house, I wasn't sad about leaving, but at least I played fairly."
