The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya actress was brought inside as a proxy for the TV star. According to many fans, Devoleena Bhattacharjee ruined Eijaz Khan's game inside the house. In her short stay, she had a couple of rather ugly outbursts. In fact, her meltdown after the spat with Arshi Khan was rather shocking. Devoleena Bhattacharjee had also slammed the housemates saying that none of them have the competitive spirit of Bigg Boss 13 team. But fans felt she did not match the spirit and ethos of Eijaz Khan.
Eijaz Khan did well for himself on the show. The TV star was fair, competitive and resilient all through. But he had to leave mid-way as he had to shoot for his web show, City Of Dreams Part 2. Due to this, he had to stay away. The highlight has been his equation with Pavitra Punia. The two fell in love on the show. Now, they are going strong and even planning to marry. Eijaz Khan told BollywoodLife in an earlier interview, "It will take her a couple of weeks to understand the strategy of everyone. I do not expect miracles. The advantages that she has in that she has seen the show all through. She is also a seasoned player. I feel her knowledge will balance out her lack of experience. I just want my own people to make sure that she does not get eliminated. I will raise the mantle as I get it." In Bigg Boss 13, Devoleena Bhattacharjee had to leave the show after she suffered a back injury. She got damaged in her spine.
