Bigg Boss 14 contestant Eijaz Khan had to leave the show midway as he had some prior commitments. However, Bigg Boss sent in a proxy for him. Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee entered the house as Eijaz Khan's proxy. Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been playing very differently and she isn't like Eijaz Khan. In fact, her aggression and her impatient behaviour made her face punishment. Post her fight with Rubina Dilaik, they both were nominated for the entire season. In fact, Eijaz Khan has been nominated for the whole season as Devoleena is nominated. Last year, Devoleena Bhattacharjee had a war on Twitter with Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla fans. She did not write good about their chemistry in their song, Bhula Dunga and hence was bashed.
Devoleena gave it back to the fans and even filed a case against one of Shehnaaz's fans, who had trolled her. Mayur Verma, who was last seen in the reality show Mujhse Shaadi Karogi as Shehnaaz Gill's suitor got into an ugly Twitter war with Devoleena. Mayur had also filed a cyber complaint against Devoleena for tarnishing his image. Mayur Verma in an interview with ETimes, spoke about Devoleena Bhattacharjee's game in the Bigg Boss 14 house as Eijaz Khan's proxy. He said, "I feel that the aggression she is showing is quite unnecessary because she can control her anger and behave normally. I also feel that she is not the right choice as Eijaz's proxy. In fact, her being so aggressive has made it difficult for Eijaz in case he decides to come back. Due to her antics, he has been nominated for the entire season. This is affecting Eijaz's game and all the hard work that he had put in for the amount of days that he was in the house."
He was asked if he said this because of his past fights with Devoleena. Mayur shared, "Well, yes. But I honestly don't like her, I get negative vibes from her. And I don't feel she is doing anything in the house that should be appreciated." Mayur Verma also said that Rubina Dilaik is the deserving winner of the season.
