Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao appear to have bonded really well during the shoot for their upcoming Netflix movie, The White Tiger, and it's been apparent through the many adorable moments they've shared on set, the latest one being this really funny BTS video, when both Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao took some time out to head out for a dinner date and ended up discussing their favourite Hajmolas. nope, we kid you not, they actually discussed the preferred flavours of Hajmolas. Recently, Priyanka Chopra had come under fire for visiting a UK salon and allegedly breaking quarantine protocol. India Today had reported that said salon was levied a fine and an official at the police station was quoted saying, "Officers were informed that the salon was being used in support of a film production and was not open to the public - paperwork was provided demonstrating this. As part of the Four E's process, officers engaged and explained the rules and offered strong words of advice to all those present including that the work needed to take place on set rather than in the salon. The salon was closed immediately. No fines were issued at the time, however, following a review of the circumstances and relevant legislation, officers have subsequently issued a fine to the salon owner."
Priyanka though categorically denied flouting any norms, with her spokesperson issuing a statement that read: "Following government guidance, Priyanka's hair was coloured for the purpose of the film she is currently shooting in London. The salon was opened privately for the production and everyone involved had been tested and followed both the DCMS working guidelines and the film production regulations."
Based on Arvind Adiga's Man-Booker-prize-winning novel of the same name, The White Tiger also stars Adarsh Gourav besides Priyanka Chopra and Rajkummar Rao, and is directed by Ramin Bahrani of Chop Shop, Man Push Cart and 99 Homes fame. The web film is set to premiere on Netflix on 22nd January.
