Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Disha Vakani's picture with Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta sparks talks of her return

Audience have been missing the silly antics of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Dayaben aka Disha Vakani. The show is one of the most loved TV shows in the country. People have loved the comic timing and camaraderie between Jethalal aka Dilip Joshi and Gokuldham society members. Recently, there were reports that the makers were trying to bring the actress back on the show but it got delayed due to COVID-19 situation. But it seems like the good news is on the way as Disha Vakani's picture with Dilip Joshi, Munmun Dutta and producer Amit Kumarr Modi has sparked talks of her return.

In the picture shared by one of Disha Vakani's fan pages on Instagram, the actress can be seen posing for a selfie alongside her former co-stars Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta who play the roles of Jethalal and Babita on the show. Disha looked etheral in a saree with a minimal jewelry while Dilip wore a kurta pyjama and jacket combo.

Earlier reports had suggested that Disha might not be returning to the show until a vaccine for Covid-19 is introduced. This is also because she has a toddler and wouldn't want to take any risk given the current situation.

Lead actor Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal recently did a YouTube podcast with Sorabh Pant in which the star gave his opinion on people demanding ban or end to the show. He said, "Many times on social media people say that they will ban Taarak Mehta.. and say that they will end the show. I'm like if you don't like the show, don't watch it. Why are you telling us to end it? So many people say a lot of things and if you listen to all of them, you won't be able to work."

The actor added, "If you were doing the show around 20 years ago, you would be able to take the liberty and do humour. No, that is not the case. You have to now be very careful about people not getting offended. Thoda sa restriction toh definitely aa gaya hai. Now you can't work freely. Even to use old songs we have to now be careful and see if we have the rights first or if we can get the rights. If you can't, you have to let go of it."
