After the roaring success of Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor is quite geared up to entertain us with his upcoming sports drama Jersey. While we have to wait till Diwali for that, the actor recently started the shooting of his digital project in Goa, which is directed by The Family Man and Go Goa Gone helmers Raj and DK. Now, talking about the lead actress, the makers have roped in Madras Cafe actress Raashi Khanna, who is also featured in Telugu and Tamil ventures. The Padmaavat actor shared the news by sharing a pic from the sets and wrote, "Welcome on board and thanks for letting me be part of your selfie." The actress replied and wrote, "Why are you hiding? Am I so intimidating? I will make sure you are seen half only in all our scenes." Well, by looking at their banter, we are sure the duo will have blast while shooting the project.
Talking about the project, a source earlier told Mid-Day, "He will begin shooting in the second week of January in Mumbai, and the project is likely to wrap up in June. Shahid will execute some high-octane action scenes in the series. Never before has Shahid allotted so many days for a project." The source added, "Set to wrap up in about four legs, the shooting schedule will also be held in Goa. "The makers have included several beach sequences, making the two cities ideal for filming."
Speaking about his next project, Jersey, it is directed by Gowtham Tinnanauri and produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill and Dil Raju. The film also features Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur in key roles.
