After a disastrous 2020, the first big film of 2021 has hit the cinemas. Master, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi is an iconic face-off is the Pongal release of the South. It is running in 50 per cent occupancy. People have thronged outside theatres in Tamil Nadu to watch the film. The initial reports of the movie are great. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj made an appeal to people to not watch the pirated version of the movie. He said that it was a labour of love. It looks like Thalapathy Vijay's film has blockbuster stamped on it. The makers were clear that they would release it in the cinemas. The movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah and Arjun Das. Master is the revival after the pandemic the industry was waiting for.
