The trailer of Richa Chadha starrer Madam Chief Minister has dropped and while it looks like all fire and brimstone on the surface, it does appear to be quite superficial, lacking depth, drama and intrigue components paramount in a political potboiler at least going by what we've seen in the trailer. And while the rest of the cast seem to be on the money, it's worrying that lead actress Richa Chadha, who's essaying the eponymous role no less, seems to have missed the buck both with her dialect and mannerisms. Directed by Subhash Kapoor of Jolly LLB and Phas Gaye Re Obama fame, Madam Chief Minister also stars Saurabh Shukla, Manav Kaul and Akshay Oberoi.
BL Verdict: While the Madam Chief Minister trailer doesn't inspire much confidence, we're reserving our judgement till the actual film release purely because of Director Subhash Kapoor's track record.
