Every year, Bollywood introduces new jodis (pairs) to world of cinema while also bringing back past successful pairs in new stories. While some are unconventional, some are real-life couples who spread their magic on celluloid, too. Since another year has come to an end, it is time to honour the Best Jodi of the past twelve months, who impressed the audience with their onscreen chemistry.
Among several pairs, Ajay Devgn-Kajol (Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior), Aditya Roy Kapur-Disha Patani (Malang), Sushant Singh Rajput-Sanjana Sanghi (Dil Bechara), Deepika Padukone-Vikrant Massey (Chhapaak), Vidyut Jammwal-Shivaleeka Oberoi (Khuda Haafiz) and Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan (Coolie No. 1), had made their way to the nomination list.
The poll result is finally out and the audience has chosen Sushant Singh Rajput-Sanjana Sanghi (Dil Bechara) as the Best Jodi of 2020. It was followed by Ajay Devgn-Kajol (Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior) at the 2nd place, Aditya Roy Kapur-Disha Patani (Malang) at the 3rd place, Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan (Coolie No. 1) at the 4th place, Vidyut Jammwal-Shivaleeka Oberoi (Khuda Hafiz) at the 5th place while Deepika Padukone-Vikrant Massey (Chhapaak) finished last at the 6th place.
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra's movie directorial debut Dil Bechara saw an unconventional romance between Sushant Singh Rajput and debutante Sanjana Sanghi. The movie was an official remake of the Hollywood flick The Flaunt In Our Stars. The two came out to be one of the cutest couples of 2020.
