WTF Wednesday: Blaming preggers Anushka Sharma for India's disastrous performance in the Adelaide test is the worst kind of trolling

Anushka Sharma was once again blamed for India's crushing defeat at the hands of the Australian team at the Adelaide Oval. Virat Kohli and his team's downfall from 9/1 to 36/9, along with Mohammad Shami getting retired hurt, was India's lowest ebb in the their test-cricket history. It is understood that the team's captain has to bear all the criticism for its the overall poor performance, but netizens went one step ahead and blamed his wife, Anushka Sharma, for India's defeat.

It's a known fact that Virat Kohli had already applied for paternity leave and wanted to return to India after the first Test match. His decision had irked many people on social media and they trolled him saying that the Indian skipper was running away from his responsibilities towards the nation. Perhaps Anushka having joined him in Australia for the Test series and cheering the team from the stands fuelled the trollers' arrogance, not that it's justified anyway. Take a look below:

But how can it be justified to troll and blame a pregnant Anushka Sharma for India's terrible loss? It wouldn't be wrong to say that the trollers have crossed all limits of decency and there's no compassion left in them. And this is not the first time the trollers targetted Anushka for Virat's poor performance on the ground. But it is disappointing to see people spending their time in criticising other people without thinking a bit how the bullying might cause severe harm to one's psyche.

It is high time online trolls should be put to task to stop this ongoing nonsense once and for all and let people live in peace in these trying times.
