Maula is a heartwrenching tale of longing for your deceased beloved. Maula's visuals begin with Erica Fernandes sitting in her bedroom and reminiscing her quality time spent with Rohman Shawl with the help of their pictures clicked together. She is seen married to Salman Shaikh. As she hears her husband coming, she tries hiding the pictures, but her husband sees her. Salman knows about Erica's past and understands her situation. However, as soon as Salman tries getting close with Erica, she takes a step back causing Salman to lash out at her. Her constant aloofness leaves him angry, but he understands her pain. Erica Fernandes seems unable to overcome her former love life and keeps hallucinating about Rohman Shawl's presence around her. However, there's a twist in the video which you need to watch yourself.
Papon has sung Maula while Goldie Sohel has composed the song and also penned the lyrics.
BL Verdict: Rohman Shawl does a good job of playing a lover in Maula. His and Erica Fernandes' chemistry is believable. Erica does a fab job as a grieving lover as does Salman Shaikh in the role of her husband. Papon's vocals are hit.
