Today, Gauahar Khan and Zaid Darbar will be tying the knot at a posh Mumbai hotel. The couple celebrated the mehendi function last night. Gauahar Khan wore a bottle green sharara with work done in a multitude of colours. It was teamed with dull gold jewellery. Zaid Darbar also wore something in the same hue. Gauahar Khan joined Zaid and his father, Ismail Darbar on stage. They sang the number, Tadap Tadap from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. As we know, every song from the film is superhit. Tadap Tadap is one of the most iconic heartbreak numbers ever. Check out the video below...
The couple had two functions yesterday. There was also a haldi function where Gauahar Khan wore a yellow and old outfit. The two danced their hearts out with the guests. With a limited number of guests at the ceremonies, they could manage everything quite well.
The two met earlier this year, and quickly became friends. In a really short time, they realised that they are perfect for one another. Awez Darbar, Anam Darbar and Nigaar Khan also had a lot of fun. They are siblings of the couple.
Gauahar Khan earlier told ETimes, "Let me clear this, the age difference that has come out is wrong. 12 years is wrong and it is very easy for people to make it a news. But it is wrong. Yes, he is a few years younger to me but 12 is not the number. He is way more mature than I am and he has brought the sense of balance in my life. Judging and passing comments that the age gap can act as a barrier in a relationship is very easy, but for Zaid and I we have a similar kind of understanding and maturity. So, age never matters or hinders in our relationship."
