Aditi Rao Hydari pens emotional note for Sufiyum Sujathayum maker Naranipuzha Shanavas who passes away after heart attack

The year 2020 has been a devastating one for the world of showbiz. We have lost so many luminous talents. Malayalam filmmaker Naranipuzha Shanavas passed away at a private hospital in Kochi after suffering a cardiogenic shock last week in Coimbatore. He was filming his movie, Gandhirajan when the incident happened. He was rushed to the ICU of KG Hospital in Coimbatore, and later taken to Aster Medicity in Kochi. He passed away on Wednesday evening in Kochi. Actor Vijay Babu posted a condolence message on his Facebook and informed of the sad development. His last film Sufiyum Sujathayum released on Amazon Prime Video.

Aditi Rao Hydari wrote on Instagram, "As kind and sensitive as his stories...

Rest in Peace Shanavas sir. I Hope your Sufi soul finds a place as beautiful as the one you created for us in Sufiyum Sujathayum. Gone too soon. My Prayers and condolences to the family."

Vijay Babu wrote on Facebook, "(You have gone, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a lot of stories you told me. Our Sufi) We tried our best for u shaanu love u lots." The filmmaker was only 37. Actor Jayasurya who was also a part of Sufiyum Sujatayum also shared a picture of him hugging Naranipuzha Shanavas. He said he was at a loss of words.

He made his debut with Karie that released in 2015. Sufiyum Sujatayum was his second film. It seems the shock had killed all his brain cells. This is indeed devastating news. We have seen the loss of so many talented artistes in 2020 from both Bollywood and South Indian film industries. And some of them have gone just too soon.
