Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni have been painting the Bigg Boss 14 house red with their love and romance. Earlier, the two used to maintain that they are just good friends who understand each other well. But the rumoured couple, slowly and steadily, have begun confessing their feelings for each other. We have seen Jasmin asking Aly whether they would like to take their relationship to a next level. And it seems like, the two have finally decided to make their relationship official.

As 2020 is coming to an end, the housemates are going to ring in the new year with a bash inside the Bigg Boss 14 house which has been turned into a club. Jasmin and Aly can be seen dancing romantically on the dance floor. As Aly wraps Jasmin in his arms, she can be heard saying, "Mere gharwalon ko mana lena." As Jasmin blushes while confessing her love, Aly plants a kiss on her forehead.

Fans have been going gaga about their romantic chemistry inside the house and calling it the best moment to start the new year.

Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin have been rumoured to be lovers for a while now. However, Jasmins mother Gurmeet Kaur Bhasin had come out to insist that the two Bigg Boss 14 housemates are best friends and little else.

"Aly and Jasmin are best friends. Their bonding and understanding of each other is superb. Jasmin is an emotional person. Before Aly came into the house, Jasmin was all alone. She didn't know anybody in the house. But after Aly's entry, she has become stronger and doesn't cry very often," Gurmeet had said about Aly, who entered the Bigg Boss house as a wild card entry earlier this month.

"We used to feel so bad seeing her crying, no parent enjoys seeing their daughter crying. I have faith in her, she is a strong girl who speaks her heart. She is not fake. She has a long way to go in 'Bigg Boss' house. We as parents have always supported her and will continue doing so because we know that she will never let us down," Gurmeet had added.

Bigg Boss 14: After Vikas Gupta's allegations against his family, brother Siddharth Gupta asks Sushant Singh Rajput to give him 'the strength to fight this lying evil'

Vikas Gupta had made some shocking allegations against his own family. While opening up to Arshi Khan about his issues, Vikas had said that his family members had dissociated themselves from him after he came out in public about his sexual orientation. He said that he loved his brother Siddharth Gupta more than anyone else and the latter allegedly snatched his mother from him. But it seems like Siddharth is not happy about Vikas' allegations. He made a cryptic post asking his late friend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput to give him strength to fight 'this' lying evil.

Siddharth shared a throwback picture on Instagram wherein he was seen chilling inside the swimming pool with Sushant Singh Rajput. "Miss you Bhai! Give me the strength to fight this lying evil. Give me the strength to maintain my character!" Siddharth wrote on the picture post Vikas' allegations against him. For the uninitiated, Siddharth and Sushant were once roommates and good friends with each other.

Earlier, Vikas' mother Sharda Gupta had also reacted to her son's allegations. She had said that the family had cut off ties with him before they got to know about his sexuality. She also clarified that their decision to dissociate themselves from Vikas had nothing to do with his sexual orientation. She had shared a long statement to end up all the speculations. Her caption reads, "Patience has its limits. If you don't fight for what you want, Don't cry for what you lost. Krishna (Bhagwat Gita)."

While speaking to Arshi, Vikas had said, "Yaha aa k realise hua ki mai maa se bahut pyar karta hu. Mere chote bhai se sabse jada pyar kiya, waha pe galti hui. Milind Soman: Men are very happy to be regarded as sex symbols because that is something extra for them

Milind Soman landed in a controversy after posing in the nude with then girlfriend Madhu Sapre, wrapped by a python, for a shoe commercial in the nineties, and did much the same again nearly three decades later when he ran in his birthday suit on a Goa beach to celebrate his 55th birthday last month. The actor always lives up to his sex symbol tag with aplomb, and says the definition doesn't bother him.

"The tag of sex symbol doesn't bother me. I will tell you why -- because, for a man to be regarded as a sex symbol is great. Men are very happy to be regarded as sex symbols because that is something extra for them," Milind told IANS.

However, he acknowledges the gender disparity in this context. "When a woman is regarded as a sex symbol, it might be everything that she is seen for, which is not a good thing," he observed.

The actor explained: "That is part of the whole discrimination on the part of the way we see women. Women have been objectified to that extent. Men have not been objectified to that extent that it (being a sex symbol) is all that they stand for."

The actor feels things are changing for the better.

"I think it is going away. I see it becoming a little bit more equal. The whole thing can't change at once but different aspects, especially gender equality, will change quicker than other aspects," he added.

Recently, Milind caused a stir when he posted a nude picture of himself running on the beach on his 55th birthday. While the actor was lauded by many for the viral image, he was booked by South Goa district police for obscenity.

Asked if the reactions and response to his birthday suit picture surprised him, Milind laughed and said: "Nothing surprises me."

"Okay, on social media, nothing surprises me. I've been here for more than 30 years. People's opinions are important. But what they tell you is how our society is growing, how our values are changing and how our culture is evolving. It doesn't mean that something is good or bad, or that's not what it tells me. I can decide what is good or bad, but what it (the reactions) tells me is about society. (Now), more people are getting more exposed, and more people are able to express their ideas. That is interesting -- what ideas they come up with and how they change over time," he added.

Tell him he looks good in the birthday picture, and his response is: "A lot of people who saw it have told me the same thing."

Atrangi Re director Aanand L Rai tests Covid-19 positive; advises those who came in recent contact to quarantine

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who has been busy shooting his upcoming film Atrangi Re, has been tested positive for Covid-19. The director has revealed that he is asymptomatic and will be in isolation as instructed by the authorities. He also advised people who came in recent contact to quarantine themselves as a safety measure.

"I have tested covid positive today.Just wanted to inform everyone that I don't feel any symptoms & I feel fine. I'm quarantining as instructed by authorities.Anyone wh has come in contact with me recently is advised to quarantine & follow d govt protocols.Thank you for support," Aanand L Rai tweeted from his official Twitter handle.

The filmmaker had recently wrapped up shooting schedules in Delhi and Agra for his upcoming directorial Atrangi Re, starring Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Nimrat Kaur. Rai shared an Instagram photo on Monday featuring the crew with Raisina Hill in the background to share the news. "Warriors of #AtrangiRe standing tall on the last day of the schedule," captioned Rai on Instagram.

Earlier, a part of the film was shot in Agra across locales including the Ghatia market and other marketplaces, besides a stint at Taj Mahal. Photographs released on social media showed Akshay Kumar dressed as Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and standing in front of the Taj.

Portions of the film have also been shot in Varanasi and Madurai as per reports. Written by Himanshu Sharma, Atrangi Re is expected to release in 2021.

Bigg Boss 4 Tamil: Rio Raj breaks down and apologises to his wife; Ramya Pandiyan laughs after seeing her mother

Even as Bigg Boss 14 (the Hindi version hosted by Salman Khan) continues to garner eyeballs as the competition heats up, Bigg Boss 4 Tamil, hosted by Kamal Haasan, is steadily leaving its mark too. In the recently concluded episode, we saw the housemates take a mini-sabbatical from their challenges and in-fighting to share some emotional moments and indulge in some much-needed bonding with their family members from whom they've been away from for quite a while, with Rio Raj and Ramya Pandiyan's reactions being the major highlights of the episode.

Rio Raj's wife entered the house as his special surprise, and the moment he cast eyes on her, Rio broke down, unable to control himself on account of being away from his beloved for more than three months. He proceeded to hug her in an embrace that seemed to last for a lifetime, and even apologised to his wife profusely for his decision to enter the Bigg Boss house and stay apart from her for an extended period of time.

On the other hand, Ramya Pandiyan's mother came in to surprise her, and the moment the two ladies saw each other, they hugged it out tightly and then began laughing in joy. When the other contestant's asked Ramya's mother how come she didn't get emotional and was able to control her tears, the former replied that her daughter has never been the crying kind, but is still quite emotional from within. She also offered some maternal advice to all the housemates, imploring them to keep their differences aside and amicably sort out their issues as much as possible.

It was indeed a pleasant break from the ongoing shenanigans inside the Bigg Boss Tamil house.

Bigg Boss 14: Vikas Gupta is again becoming the mastermind of the show with his strategies, say fans – view poll result

Known for his manipulative mind, Vikas Gupta is back on Bigg Boss 14 as a challenger after he was thrown out of the house for getting violent with fellow contestant Arshi Khan. He has now once again started completing challenges given to him with precision and making alliances with other housemates to support his plans. Fast & Furious actor Tyrese Gibson announces divorce from Samantha Lee after 4 years of marriage

Popular Hollywood actor and singer Tyrese Gibson, who is known for his portrayal in Fast & Furious franchise, has announced his divorce with wife Samantha Lee nearly four years after their marriage. Recently, Priyanka Chopra also reminisced on Instagram about her experience of playing Mary Kom in the biopic of the same name. "Playing #MaryKom was not what I expected at all. The weight of telling the story of a living, national icon put a load on me that I hadn't shouldered before. It was surreal in many ways. She was a world champion sportswoman who was and is still competing and is on top of her game. It was an honour but also a huge responsibility for me as an actor," she said.

"It was both physically and emotionally demanding requiring an extreme amount of training to not just get into the physical shape but to learn her particular style of boxing... she is left handed and I'm right. So I had to learn to box as a south paw which was a challenge. It's an experience I will never forget. An amazing team and an equally supportive Mary herself saw me through it all," she added.

Looking back at her two decades in the film industry, PeeCee elaborated, "Being in Indian movies was like entering a magical world.. I went in blind, with no idea what to expect and no formal training. It's been a rollercoaster ride of challenges and milestones with so much I've learned since and so many incredible people I met along the way."

Tanhaji: the Unsung Warrior

Ajay Devgn roared in this film, which had massy elements backed by strong content. Saif Ali Khan was superb, too, The action and emo moments left an indelible mark.

Malang

This muti-starrer had unidimensional characters and was a mix of action, romance, thrill and suspense. Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani played lead roles in this one, with strong support from Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu.

Thappad

Taapsee Pannu was fabulous in this film directed by Anubhav Sinha, which was centred on domestic violence. Its poignancy struck a major chord.

Ludo

This was a fun and quirky watch with converging storylines, all of which made an impact. Karma and the unfairness of it was a major theme in this Anurag Basu directorial. Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra and Rajkummar Rao's performances left an lasting impression.

Bulbbul

Tripti Dimri was superb in this film directed by Anvita Dutt. It was about a child-bride and her journey, underlined by supernatural overtures. Rahul Bose had a double role in this one.

Choked

Directed by Anurag Kashyap, this movie was about a bank employee finding a secret source of seemingly unlimited cash in her home. Saiyami Kher, Roshan Mathew and Amruta Subhash were really good in the movie.

Talking about Amitabh Bachchan's entry in the film, Nag Ashwin said, "I feel lucky and blessed that Bachchan Sir has selected our film among the many choices he has. It is a full-length role, which we believe will do justice to the legend that he is." During the media interaction, producer Ashwini Dutt said, "Nag Ashwin' story surprised me. He came up with a universally acceptable story for Baahubali and Saaho star Prabhas. The project requires hundreds of cr of budget. Only Prabhas has the ability to pull off such a massive project." As per the reports, #Prabhas21 is expected to be a sci-fi venture about time travel, where the lead actors will go to specific time zones. The production of this film will be shot all over Europe. The film is produced by Vyjayanthi Entertainments, a banner that recently completed 50 years in the business. It will be reportedly made on the budget of Rs 400 crore.

Sonu Sood on getting the title 'Personality of the Year': I am overwhelmed and truly humbled by the love that I have been receiving

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood became a real-life in the tough year of 2020 by arranging transport facilities and providing funds to the migrants and under-privileged people during COVID-19. My parents have always taught me that with success and privilege comes responsibility. So, I was just following their advice. When asked about the feeling Andhra Pradesh villagers building a temple for him, he responded, "When I came to know about it, I was overwhelmed. I could not even imagine that I would get so much love from everyone. I do not think I deserve this. I am just a simple man doing his job. You are comparing me to legends (Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan). I have a long way to go before I can join their league."

Speaking about highest and lowest moment of 2020, he said, "The visuals of migrants walking on the roads and heading back to their homes disturbed everyone including me. When I saw these people walking on the highways, I said this is not right. It's going to lead to something serious. These visuals surely were the lowest point of 2020. My mom always used to say you're successful only if you can help someone. My parents are not around but their blessings are with me and I believe that has helped me in providing a helping hand to whoever is in need during their tough times. All the blessings that I have got from so many people across our country is really a big high for me and it motivates me to keep doing better."

'Rhea Chakraborty to make her silver screen comeback in 2021', confirms filmmaker Rumi Jaffrey

Sushant Singh Rajput's alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who embroiled in Drug probe post the demise of Chhichhore actor is set to make her comeback in 2021, revealed filmmaker Rumi Jaffrey, who was a close friend of SSR and Rhea. Talking to Spotboye, the writer-director said, "It has been a traumatic year for her. Of course the year was bad for everyone. But in her case it was a trauma on another level. Can you imagine any girl from a well-to-do middleclass family spending a month in jail? It has crushed her morale completely."

He added, "Rhea will return to her work early next year. I met her recently. She was withdrawn and quiet. Didn't speak much. Can't blame her after what she has gone through. Let the heat and dust settle down. I'm sure Rhea will have a lot to say." While actress is now out of the jail, her lawyer had told NDTV, "The Bengal tigress will fight back. She will fight all those idiots. The shameless people who destroyed her image are lining up outside my office for my interview. The Bombay High Court is examining the role of the media trial. The Supreme Court is also examining the role of the media trial in this case."

He added, "The judge found that the quantity (of drugs involved) was very less. It was not equivalent to the quantity that can be traded. I am grateful to the high court that the judge went through the entire material given to him." Priyanka Chopra on playing Mary Kom: It was both physically and emotionally demanding

The Desi Girl of Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra is sharing posts of her special films to celebrate her 20 years in the entertainment industry. And in her recent one, she speaks about her journey of Mary Kom, which the actress says was physically and emotionally demanding for her. Reminiscing the film, the former Miss World wrote, "Playing #MaryKom was not what I expected at all. The weight of telling the story of a living, national icon put a load on me that I hadn't shouldered before. It was surreal in many ways. She was a world champion sportswoman who was and is still competing and is on top of her game. It was an honour but also a huge responsibility for me as an actor."

Describing her role, Piggy Chops added, "It was both physically and emotionally demanding requiring an extreme amount of training to not just get into the physical shape but to learn her particular style of boxing... she is left handed and I'm right. So I had to learn to box as a south paw which was a challenge. It's an experience I will never forget. An amazing team and an equally supportive Mary herself saw me through it all."

Summing up her two decades in the entertainment industry Priyanka Chopra had previously posted, "Being in Indian movies was like entering a magical world.. I went in blind, with no idea what to expect and no formal training. It's been a rollercoaster ride of challenges and milestones with so much I've learned since and so many incredible people I met along the way."

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra will be next in The White Tiger opposite Rajkummar Rao, which is a Netflix film. It is adapted from Aravind Adiga's prize-winning novel of the same name. The film is helmed by Ramin Bahrani.

Hiten Tejwani recalls his first day on Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi sets; says, ‘They hadn’t even decided my name when I reached there’

Popular TV actor Hiten Tejwani, who garnered popularity for his portrayals in serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb and others, recently opened up about his first day on the sets of Kyunki, which will definitely make you laugh. Talking to TOI, the actor said, "I remember going to the set and my name was still not decided. They were discussing whether to name me Karan or something else. And before getting the look shot, I got to know my name is Karan. First scene was my footsteps and then they showed my face. I came and I smiled. I was playing Sahil's friend. That time I was just Karan and not Karan Virani. They later found out that I am the illegitimate son."

When asked whether he still do audition for his roles, Hiten replied, "Yes, yes I do. The thing is, people have seen me in a particular role, and they want to see me in the role they want to offer to see if I can look that part, it's equally important and ok. There's nothing wrong in that. And I want to tell this to all the actors with all due respect, that if you are a good actor, you shouldn't think that you won't audition,. That's my belief."

Speaking about the lockdown effect, the handsome hunk of TV said, "By God's grace, I have never seen hardship in life. And I have taken breaks for myself when my kids were born, during opening of my restaurant. Apart from that I have been working throughout luckily. These six months were a blessing in disguise where I got to spend so much time with my family. And now I am busy once again."

2020 Recap: Shraddha Kapoor-Tiger Shroff's Bhankas, Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan's Teri Bhabhi and 10 other songs that continued the era of bad music

Can you believe that we spent about three quarters of 2020 at home? So much has happened this year that we would just like to forget it. And like every other year in the last few years, the songs in Bollywood have been deteriorating in terms of LYRICS, quality and basically, they are such killjoys that you wished you never heard. It may sound harsh, but hey, a reality check, they don't make many evergreen songs anymore.

Bhankas (Baaghi 3)

`

Shraddha Kapoor and Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 3 had this remake song, Bhankas which was crappy. It sounded forced because the EDM beats that were added into the song looked like they just wanted to make it appealing to the youth just because the gen-y are into EDM. While the moves were groovy, it looked forced.

Dus Bahane 2.0 (Baaghi 3)

The original composer duo, Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, recreated Dus Bahane 2.0. But it was nowhere to what the original number was. Even the composers agreed to it. It was all glamorising of the leads and nothing more.

Garmi (Street Dancer 3D)

Garmi was such a dud. Why was the song really made? It's so cringey. It sounds like beats added into someone's hue-cry over hot weather but it's not (wrong weather).

Lamborghini 2.0 (Jai Mummy Di)

The original is such a better song. It's groovy and it's a fun Punjabi number. But the Hindi version sounds boring. There's no rhythm which the original has.

Teri Meri Meri Kahani (Happy Hardy Aur Heer)

Sorry to say but the goodwill of Himesh Reshammiya fell upon his head. When Renu Mondal begins, you shut it though Himesh's vocals are pretty amazing in it. But if you shut it before even getting to Himesh's part, there's no point, right?

Cutie Pie (Happy Hardy Aur Heer)

'Tum na mile to, I will die, cutie pie, cutie pie.' Yeah, that's the lyrics. They really put so much thought into writing lyrics these days I tell you.

Kangna Vilayti (Virgin Bhanupriya)

You may have heard of Laung Gawacha? Add some Kangna Vilayti into it and boom, you think you have a new song. Plus forcefully add EDM into it because how else would you attract the youth? Sorry, Urvashi, you are quite talented but the character did not suit you.

Virgin Bhanupriya title track

The song sounds like it's put into the movie because they couldn't describe her character which BTW is poorly written.

Duniya Sharma Jayegi (Khaali Peeli)

It was Beyonc Sharma Jayegi earlier. They changed it because of patent reasons and the controversy over racism which the makers denied intending to do so. It has a mixture of a couple of dance styles, but even that couldn't make this song happening.

Sawan mein lag gayi aag (Ginny weds Sunny)

Mika Singh brought two versions of his original this year. Two very different ones. Talking about Yami Gautam, Vikrant Massey, Badshah and Neha Kakkar's version, it's discordant. It kills the feel of the original and sounds slow. Basically, the energy just doesn't add up.

Maata Ka Jaagrata (Laxmii)

Two questions: Why ruin Apna Time Aayega? And why create such a number for Mata ka jagrata in the first place? We know such kinds of songs have been in vogue these days but it's oh-so-bad that we cannot even use a cuss word here. You know, mata ka jagrata hai.

Teri Bhabhi (Coolie No 1)

In this song, Varun Dhawan asks an invisible being to move aside because he wants to flirt with his ladylove, Sara Ali Khan. That's the whole context of the song.

Apart from these, there are several other songs that were a hit despite being crappy.

Anushka Sharma opens up on raising baby with Virat Kohli: We don’t see it as mum and dad duties

Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli are set to welcome their first baby in January 2021. While their fans are happy and excited for the newborn, the Zero actress recently opened up about raising her child with husband by imparting the values, which she got from her parents. Talking to Vogue magazine, Anushka said, "There are so many similarities in the way we are as people and the way we approach life. So I do think that will work for us. I've been thinking about it before I even became a parent. Conditioning is the most important role in how we see the world. I come from a progressive background, so that will always be a part of our home. Love is the underlying factor in our home, and what's important to us is that our child be respectful of people. You have to create that value structure. We don't want to raise brats,"

The actress also revealed that she and Virat will keep their baby away from social media as she asserted, "We've thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye we don't plan on engaging our child in social media. I think it's a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It's hard enough for adults to deal with it. It's going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through."

When asked about dividing responsibilities as mother and father, Anushka replied, "We don't see it as mum and dad duties, but as a family unit. For us, it's important that our child be raised with a very balanced outlook. It is all about shared duties. I will be the primary caregiver, especially in the first few years, and that's the reality. I am self-employed and I can decide when I am working if I do one or two films a year. In Virat's case, he plays round the year. What becomes important is the time we spend together as a family."

Bigg Boss 14: Vikas Gupta's mother reacts to his allegations against the family; says, 'We cut off ties before he came out in public'

Bigg Boss 14 has been giving us some dramatic stuff in the last few weeks. In one of the recent episodes, we saw Vikas Gupta breaking down and saying that his family cut off ties with him after he came out in public and confessed that he is bisexual. Now, her mother Sharda Gupta has shared a long statement to end up all the speculations. While her caption reads, "Patience has its limits. If you don't fight for what you want, Don't cry for what you lost. Krishna (Bhagwat Gita)"

Her caption reads, "To think that we actually distanced our own (son) for his sexual orientation is equal to making a derogatory statement about my family. Yes, my son and I are not on great terms but that has nothing to do with his orientation. We had cut off ties with him much before he decided to come out in public, and we knew and have always loved him and accepted him the way he is. So the news about us distancing him cause of his choices is a complete hoax fabricated to one's convenience. But sometimes, when you give too much love, you risk to be taken for granted. Unfortunately we distanced ourselves from him but despite that, we maintained a silence because unlike him, we didn't want to paint a bad picture of him in the media.

This matter would have never reached this far had my son not decided to cast aspersions against us. We had decided to give him due respect, but he couldn't allow us our peace, which as a family, is our defeat. This would be my first and last statement on the same as I don't intend to carry on with this blame game and I would request everyone to understand and give us the respect and privacy we deserve. Thank you."

2020 Recap: From accusing people without facts to conspiracy theories to Lucky Ali’s impromptu songs – 6 things that weren’t boycotted this year

2020 was one strange year with coronavirus impacting our lives in ways we could have never imagined. What made the year even more difficult was the trend of boycotting. It increased significantly post the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput. Now while different things both tangible and otherwise, including films and people, were boycotted left, right and centre (most of them after Sushant Singh Rajput's death) this year; here's a look at those things that were not boycotted in 2020.

Accusing without facts or proofs

Post Sushant Singh Rajput's demise, many people were blamed for allegedly taking his life by the online junta as well as several media houses. Nepotism and groupism were also believed to be the causes. Most of it was done without any facts or proofs.

Conspiracy theories

There were several conspiracy theories doing the rounds after Sushant's demise. His death was linked to his ex-manager Disha Salian, who passed away just a few days prior, and some channels were even bringing a political scion into the equation.

Bad music

There was no boycotting bad music this year. Baring a few good songs, we mostly had to put up with deplorable music. Bhankas and Masakali 2.0 were the worst of the lot.

Lucky Ali's impromptu gigs

This was one rare good thing that happened in 2020. It was such a joy to see Lucky humming O Sanam and other of his iconic songs in his inimitable and soothing voice.

Terrible Bigg Boss episodes

Bigg Boss 13 was one great season and so, expectations were pretty high for Bigg Boss 14. But the season proved to be disappointing more often than not. The contestants' game was nowhere close to the mark as that of their erstwhile counterparts. Even past contestants Sidharth Shukla, Gauahar Khan and Hina Khan couldn't help energise them much.

OTT content

This was a mixed bag. With cinema halls being shut due to the pandemic, a lot of content was released online. While shows such as Mirzapur 2, Special Ops, Asur, Undekhi and Scam 1992 were phenomenal, we had to deal with terrible stuff like Sadak 2 and Virgin Bhanupriya, too..

'I want a life without fear in 2021,' says Hina Khan

Popular TV actress Hina Khan, who garnered nationwide popularity for her portrayal of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and recently appeared as one of the Toofani Seniors in Bigg Boss 14, says that despite being a restrictive year, 2020 has been a productive one for her. While talking to Mumbai Mirror, the gorgeous beauty said, "In spite of 2020 being a very restrictive year, it was definitely an amazing one for me. On both professional and personal fronts, I was able to achieve a lot of things on my wishlist, which in turn made the year quite a productive one for me. There was a lot I managed to work on this year. From shooting for TV shows and music videos, promoting all my projects and even getting a chance to safely travel for work and personal family time was all made possible. I am happy that I was able to achieve so much on all fronts in spite of the ongoing situation, in of course a very safe and secure manner."

Talking about achievements and regrets in 2020, Hina Khan asserted, "My major resolution of 2020 was to keep myself and my family safe and healthy. Other than that, I am not someone who believes in planning resolutions as my main aim is to just work on the goals that I have set in my mind. 2020 been very kind to me and allowed me achieve all that I have wanted to!"

Speaking about her plans in 2021, the Hacked actress said, "What I want from 2021 and the coming years is a life without fear, for me and everybody else. I definitely want this virus to vanish and never come back, so that people live a good, healthy and carefree life. Especially for people who are breadwinners of their family, so that they can go out there and make money and run their homes. People are still suffering, so to end their sufferings, this virus just has to go away!"

Throwback Thursday: When Rakhi Sawant had opened up about going under the knife to enhance her features

Bollywood actress and item girl Rakhi Sawant has been in the industry for quite a long time. While the actress has done small roles in films produced under big banners like YRF and Red Chillies, she is mostly known for her stint on television reality shows. The beauty has earlier shared her struggling journey in the entertainment world where she spoke casting couch experiences, facing rejections and whatnot. While Rakhi Sawant is currently grabbing headlines for her ugly banter with Jasmin Bhasin and Arshi Khan on Bigg Boss 14, we stumbled upon a video where she appeared on actor Rajeev Khandelwal's talk show, JuzzBaatt Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak, and spoke about her struggles in the industry.

Speaking about her struggling days, she asserted, "My family never approved of me getting into the (entertainment) industry and would beat me up black and blue if they would ever find me dancing. When I finally reached Mumbai, I started dancing and showcasing my talent in front of many producers who would also see me in a bad light."

Talking about the reason behind opting for cosmetic surgeries, she said, "I thought that I would rather dance at a dance bar than in front of such inconsiderate people. I faced innumerable rejections and resorted to surgery to improve my looks and appearance. I went into the surgery room as my former self Neeru Bheda but came out as a new and improved version of my own self Rakhi Sawant."

Ahead of entering Bigg Boss 14 as one of the challengers, Rakhi Sawant had slammed Arshi Khan and told BollywoodLife, "Arshi bilkul bakwaas hai. She calls you a friend and backstabs you. When she went for Bigg Boss 11, I was the one who introduced to many known people. I took her to many shows, award functions and many other places. Nobody knew Arshi Khan in Bollywood. Now, after she has earned a name for herself, she has forgotten Rakhi. Meri billi mujhse myao. But Rakhi Sawant will not get affected by such a friend. She has seen my friendship until now but now I will show her my enemity. Uski mai aisi band bajaungi na ki zindagi mein ye khadi nahi ho payegi."

Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke: 'I have a special place in my heart for Shaheer Sheikh, 'producer Rajan Shahi showers praises on the actor

Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke ended on October 17. The show had a huge fan following and was the most loved on television. However, due to low TRPs the show went off-air. But fans were clearly not happy with this decision and took to social media to protest so that Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke gets an extension. Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma were paired for the first time on television. They both were brilliant as Abir and Mishti in the show. Not just Shaheer and Rhea, Rupal Patel, Kaveri Priyam, Lata Saberwal, Avinash Mishra, Ritvik Arora, Trishaa Chatterjee and others also made a place in our hearts. Now, producer Rajan Shahi spoke about the fans' wish to get another season of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. In an interview with IWMBuzz, Rajan Shahi shared that he is extremely proud of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.

He said, "I am extremely proud of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke. It had amazing performances coming from Shaheer Sheikh, Rhea Sharma, Rupal Patel, Kaveri Priyam etc. The best part of the show was to work with such an amazing cast. One of my most cherished moments from the show was working with Shaheer Sheikh. After working with him, I always applaud his professionalism and down-to-earth nature. I have a special place in my heart for Shaheer Sheikh. His passion for work is outstanding. This passion for work runs in Mohsin Khan too. We were disappointed with the show's closure. I fail to understand why the fans blamed us for the closure. As makers, we also go through the pain of the show going off-air."

"No Producer will be happy with his show going off-air. We were not happy but had to take it in stride with all humility. My last parting note to the team of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke was that you never know when we will come together again. The negative backlash was unreasonable. But to tell them honestly, one needs to go by the situation we prevail in. I told my actors when I met them before parting that we will meet again soon. This was the optimism I had, "he added.

Are Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt engaged? Read deets

Ranbir Kapoor had recently acknowledged his relationship with Alia Bhatt and said that he would have got married this year, had there not been a pandemic situation. He also shared that he is hoping to get married in 2021. The two along with Neetu Kapoor, Soni Razdan and others have landed in Ranthambore. And there was a growing buzz that Alia and Ranbir may get engaged in the national reserve.

"It is not true. If Ranbir and Alia were to get engaged today, my family and I would have also been there with them. Ranbir, Alia and Neetu have gone there for holidays and to bring in the new year. The news of their engagement is incorrect," Randhir Kapoor told The Indian Express.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been in a relationship for more than a year now. There have also been several speculations about the couple getting married soon. It was also being said that the two have trying to build their love nest, for which, the two have been house-hunting for long. Setting the record straight, Ranbir finally acknowledged his relationship with Alia and called her his girlfriend. He also went on to confirm the speculations saying that he would have married his lady-love this year itself had there not been a pandemic situation.

Ranbir opened up about his personal life and wedding to Alia to film journalist Rajeev Masand in an interview. "I would have been married to Alia Bhatt if the pandemic wouldn't have happened. I don't want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life," he said.

Bigg Boss 14: 'Mean nahi, puri vamp ban chuki hai,' Devoleena Bhattacharjee on Jasmin Bhasin's behaviour

In the latest episode of Bigg Boss 14, we saw Rakhi Sawant and Jasmin Bhasin getting into a nasty fight. A lot of eyebrows were raised when the promo of Jasmin Bhasin behaving very with Rakhi Sawant. In the earlier promo, we had seen Rakhi Sawant saying that the legs of those who smile behind her back may break. Later, we had seen Rakhi getting confronting Jasmin Bhasin for smiling/laughing. Jasmin had said that it was her wish to do whatever she wants. Their voices were raised. Next, we saw Jasmin throwing the chicken head on top of Rakhi Sawant's head that hurt her nose. She had been crying and Aly Goni and others were consoling her. Jasmin had called out to her saying that she is faking it and called her nautanki.

Devoleena Bhattacharjee seems to be not liking Jasmin Bhasin's attitude inside the house. She called the Dil Se Dil Tak actress out by tweeting out on her Twitter handle. "Mean nahi Puri Vamp ban chuki hai madam... #bb14," Devoleena Bhattacharjee wrote. Here's her tweet:

Kamya Punjabi had called out Jasmin and agreed with Aly Goni and Abhinav Shukla for reprimanding the Tashan-e-Ishq actress in the right way. Bigg Boss 14: SHOCKING! Rahul Mahajan reveals Rakhi Sawant used to be beaten as a child for dancing

Rakhi Sawant may have been emerged as one of the most entertaining contestants of Bigg Boss 14, but it looks like there's a lot of pain behind her smiling face. This came to light when Rahul Mahajan, whom Rakhi calls her friend, revealed that she used to get beaten up in her childhood for dancing. He also said that despite earning immense fame, Rakhi is totally lonely.

"You want to know why she behaves so possessive? She has become very lonely. Though I have met her only once, but she calls me her friend. She told me she has a husband, named Ritesh. But she hasn't met him in two years. She is mentally very alone. She wants that whatever happens, someone should come to her. She has all these built up insecurities. She finds herself alone in the world. Her mother is sick, father nahi hai (father isn't there) bhai behen ka kuch na kuch, pati bhi nahi milta hai (her siblings are out of the picture) she is very lonely," Rahul Mahajan said on Tuesday's episode while speaking about Rakhi to Sonali Phogat and Arshi Khan.

As Rahul Vaidya joined the group, Rahul continued, "Father nahi hai father ne uske bachpan me maara hoga, peeta hoga (Her father must've been physically abusive towards her when she was a child). Childhood me usko bahut maarte the dance karne ke liye (They used to beat her for dancing). She has daulat, shouhrat but apne log nahi hai (She has fame and fortune, but no one to call her own). She feels she has a character to maintain. There is a clash between the real Rakhi and the Rakhi that is known to the world."

You might hate her or love her, but you certainly cannot ignore Rakhi Sawant. Controversy's favourite child is back in the news again, this time as a challenger on the ongoing season 14 of Bigg Boss.

Rakhi, who was a contestant on season one of the show, has been there, done it all -- from fights to melodrama to crazy antics. She has always seemed like a perfect fit in the Bigg Boss house, a place where sanity is the last thing expected from contestants to make a mark.

There is a method to the madness, though. If Rakhi seems like she was made for the Bigg Boss madness, she probably prepared for this stage over the decades through a very eventful life that she has lead.

Bigg Boss 14: Rakhi Sawant's husband, Ritesh, SLAMS Jasmin Bhasin; asks, 'Uski image hai kya?'

Bigg Boss 14 has been getting more dramatic as the passes by and the recent contestants to grab the headlines were Jasmin Bhasin and Rakhi Sawant. The verbal spat between the duo has led followed by a assault on Rakhi from Jasmin has garnered criticism from the fans. And now, Rakhi's husband Ritesh has slammed the Naagin 4 actress as he told SpotBoye, "Bigg Boss is a mind game and we cannot accept any physical assault. He added, "In spite of hurting Rakhi so much and seeing her crying Jasmin had no guilt about it. In fact I could see her saying 'Jo mujhse panga lega ye hoga' what sort of attitude is this? And then she is kicking that duck face. If you hurt somebody at least have the courtesy to say sorry. Rakhi ko hurt karke usko hi attitude dikha rahi hai and that is not acceptable. Agar ye same chiz uske saath hoti to usko pata chalta."

Speaking about Rakhi's nose injury Ritesh asserted, "Rakhi ke nose pe injury hai kyunki uska bhaut pehle accident hua tha jiske baad usko wapas banaya gaya. And I guess everyone already knows that". Reacting to Jasmin Bhasin crying over the incident, he said,"Uski image hai kya? To be honest I even don't know what she has done in her life. Her real intentions were clear in her actions and public is not a fool they could see what has happened. Aap Rakhi ko chhot phauchake hass rahe ho jabki Rakhi ka badapan ye hai ki vo keh rahi main nahi chahti usko strict punishment mile. And then not even once she went and apologised to my wife for doing wrong. So I guess she has herself shown her real image to the world."

Bigg Boss 14: 'Ye kisi aurat ke saath hota to chalta?' Aly Goni LASHES out at Rakhi Sawant for tearing Rahul Mahajan's Dhoti

The drama in Bigg Boss house is going to be extra tonight. The channel had released a promo a couple of minutes ago in which we see a lot of people shocked with the behaviour of Julie aka Rakhi Sawant. Julie is a character played by Rakhi Sawant on the show. Now, as per the promo, we will see Rakhi Sawant participating in the captaincy task as Julie. And while performing the task, she'll grab Rahul Vaidya by his neck. Rakhi is also seen sitting on Rahul Mahajan's lap. She later could be seen dragging out in the law area where the whole set up has been created. Rahul Mahajan cried out saying, "Meri dhoti chhod do." After a while, we see Rakhi Sawant completely tearing Rahul's dhoti. This infuriates the men inside the house. Even Arshi Khan is quite shocked by the incident.

Rahul Vaidya then reprimands Rakhi asking her how she can pull dhoti the way she did. We see, Rakhi Sawant standing outside the house with Abhinav Shukla, Rahul Vaidya, Aly Goni and Vikas Gupta standing outside the glass door as though in protest. They call out Rakhi for her behaviour. Aly Goni lashes out at her saying, "Ye kisi aurat ke saath hota to chalta?" Check out the video below:

Earlier, Rakhi Sawant's husband had lashes out at Rahul for calling her cheap. In an interview with ETimes, he slammed Rahul Mahajan for his words. He said, "All the things that Rahul Mahajan said against Rakhi Sawant don't suit him. If you look at his family background, he belongs to a family which has political connections. His late father and now his sister both have been political leaders. So, when he is saying Rakhi Sawant has cheap fans he is directly taking a dig at the aam janta the public who have voted for his father and sister. This shows he has superiority complex and by abusing the public he is ruining the things his sister and father have done so far in their careers. So, I would request the aaj janta, public who are watching it please give him a befitting reply through your votes to him."

Amitabh Bachchan recalls his failed attempt at replicating Michael Jackson; says, 'What a failure I was' — view pic

Amitabh Bachchan has done just about any and everything you could imagine on screen, and one of those things include emulating Michael Jackson. While fans of his older movies would be familiar with a scene from his 1988 hit, Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswathi, where Amitabh Bachchan had dressed like none other than the King of Pop Michael Jackson who had become insanely popular worldwide from the mid 80s onward, we're sure that the news will come as quite a bit of a surprise to his newer moviegoers.

Well, the Big B himself has now shared a pic of the scene from the movie on his official Instagram handle, lamenting his unsuccessful attempt at emulating Michael Jackson. He captioned the throwback pic: "...when Manmohan Desai thought that I could replicate MJ in our film Ganga Jamuna Saraswati.. What a failure I was!!" Check out his post below:

Atrangi Re: Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan wrap their Agra schedule by cutting a cake and clicking pictures

Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar had been shooting for Atrangi Re in Agra, Delhi. The Aanand L Rai directorial film is said to feature Sara in a double role. This is the first time, the actress will be playing a double role on-screen. The pictures and videos of Akshay Kumar twirling in the Mughlai emperor outfit. As per the reports, Akshay Kumar will be having a special role in the film. Now, the Agra schedule of Atrangi Re has been wrapped up. While Akshay was nowhere to be seen, Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and the director Aanand La Rai celebrated the schedule wrap with cake cutting and making merry. Check out the pictures below:

Sara Ali Khan had opened up on her filmy journey in the industry, saying, "I don't know, it's never about that for me. My career for me has never been about, 'aaj commercial film karte hai, kal serious ya parso solo film karte hai or Ranveer (Singh) ke sath karte hai.' Aisa nahi hota. Mere liye hamesha ye hota hai ki agar koi mujhe koi kahaani sunaye, and mujhe lagta hai ye kahani mujhe suhani hai. Ab wo chahe wo kahaani mai akeli suna rahi hu yam era chota hissa hai ya bohot bada hai at the end of the day, I do want to tell good and relevant stories. (My career has never been about planning a commercial film today, doing a serious tomorrow or working on a solo film day after or one with Ranveer (Singh). It doesn't work that way. For me, it's about telling stories that I feel should be told. Now it doesn't matter whether that film is solo or I have a small part to play in it.)"

Sara Ali Khan had added that post-Atrangi Re, she will look for more meaty roles. "But I do think that, especially after Atrangi Re, I have become a little bit greedy and I do think that I want to do meaty things. Uska matlab ye nahi hai ki akele karna. I just want to do a role and a character that I can get into and a story that deserves to be told. I don't like to complicate it more than that."
