Twinkle Khanna is one witty actress. She never is one such actress who would not shy away from taking a dig at herself whenever she can. Recently, a meme has been going viral on social media in which we see a picture Tinu Verma's Gujjar from Mela on the back of a truck. She shared the meme and put up a post with a self-deprecating humour. "Certain things, I suppose, are timeless! This popped up in my messages today and what can I say except Mela has certainly left a mark or a scar, whichever way you look at it, on me and the rest of the nation:)," she captioned the post.

Earlier, Twinkle had revealed that she'll marry Akshay Kumar if the film flopped. "I had decided that if Mela flops, I'll marry Akshay and it happened," she had said in an interview. "I have done something which nobody has ever seen. *imitates herself* 'Rupa, aankhein dekho, Rupa..." Twinkle had passed yet another remark on the disaster film when she had made an appearance on Karan Johar's chat show, Koffee With Karan.
Twinkle had opened up saying that she was never interested in acting anyway and hence, after a point she quit the industry. The actor-turned-author Twinkle Khanna had earlier reacted to the debate that was raging on social media, ever since a food delivery giant announced that all its women employees, including transgender people, can avail up to 10 days of period leaves in a year. Emphasising on #EqualNotIdentical, Twinkle wrote on Instagram: "Are we really saying we can't give women leave or the prospect of working from home for that one day? My opinion of gritting our teeth and bearing it, fighting our biology so we can say we are as good as men has changed over time. We are equal, not identical #EqualNotIdentical."
