Shaheer Sheikh
Shaheer Sheikh gave all his fans a huge surprise today as he revealed about his wedding with Ruchikaa Kapoor. Shaheer Sheikh tied the knot with Ruchikaa Kapoor a few days back. They had a court marriage due to the pandemic and as per reports in Bombay Times, they plan to have a traditional wedding in June 2021. Shaheer and Ruchikaa flew to Jammu which is the Mahabharat actor's hometown after their court marriage. They had a small ceremony at Shaheer house in Jammu and another informal ceremony at Ruchikaa's residence in Mumbai. Shaheer Sheikh spoke about his dream girl, Ruchikaa Kapoor in an interview with Bombay Times after their wedding. Shaheer said, "Ruchikaa is honest when it comes to her feelings. The best part about our relationship is that we are friends first. Being an actor, I have to pretend in front of the camera all the time, but I have found a partner with whom I get to be myself. I've always said that I'm a 'wanderer' and I've finally found the right companion. I am looking forward to my never-ending travels with her."
Bigg Boss 14
Bigg Boss 14 was full of drama this week. We saw so many relationships changing in the house. Jasmin and Rubina who had been friends since the first day have turned enemies now. Abhinav Shukla and Rubina Dilaik also had a heated argument this week. The show once again got into a trouble as Karni Sena demanded a ban on Salman Khan's reality show, claiming that it promotes "love jihad", following a steamy kiss between Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia, a Muslim and Hindu contestant. They have also issued a notice to the makers and channel on which the show airs.
Qubool Hai 2.0
Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti will be back as Asad and Zoya with Qubool Hai 2.0. Yes, you heard that right, Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti's Qubool Hai is coming as a web series on Zee5. It will be directed by Ankush Mohla and Glen Barretto, it will also feature Arif Zakaria and Mandira Bedi. It will be a 10-episode romantic drama and is being produced by Mrinal Abhigyan Jha under the banner MAJ Productions. The shooting of the show will begin this month and will release next year.
Kapil Sharma
Bharti Singh and her husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, were arrested a couple of days ago on drug-related charges by the Narcotics Control Bureau ) NCB after a small quantity of cannabis was found at their residence. They also admitted to having consumed it. Recently, a Twitter user tried to troll Kapil Sharma by saying that even he will get caught once like Bharti. The comedian fat shamed the Twitter user. "Bharti ka kya haal hua? Tb jb tk pkdi nai gyi ..drugs nai leti thi.. Wo hi haal aapka h shayad jb tk pakde nai jao..no drugs (What happened to Bharti? Until she got caught, she said she did not take any drugs. I think it is the same case with you. Until you get caught, you say 'no drugs') @KapilSharmaK9," wrote the random person on Twitter. Kapil Sharma in reply wrote, "Pehle apne size ki shirt silwa mote (Fatty, first get yourself a shirt that fits)," replied the ace comedian. He later deleted the tweet.
Ashiesh Roy
Sasural Simar Ka actor Ashiesh Roy passed away due to kidney failure. Amit Behl Senior Joint Secretary of CINTAA confirmed the news and told E Times, "Ashiesh has passed away in his house. Director Arvind Babbal called me to inform about it." Actress Tina Ghai also confirmed the news and said, "We are grief-stricken. We have activated the Zonal heads at CINTAA. There is a problem in acquiring the death certificate too as he passed away at home."
