Late Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta thanks fans for remembering him on Diwali; says, 'You guys are our family'

This year Diwali fell on November 14, 2020. It was exactly five months after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput in June. The year has been a tragic one for Bollywood, and the death of the young actor has been one of the most disturbing incidents. People are yet to come on terms with the tragedy. On the occasion of Diwali, many fans of the actor distributed food and essential supplies to the under-privileged. This was done in his memory. As we know, there is a demand for justice as some of the circumstances surrounding his demise are still unclear. His sister, Shweta Singh Kirti has thanked fans saying the family was touched by the love.

A couple of days back, Shweta turned a year older. Fans flooded her with wishes. Even Ankita Lokhande wished her on the occasion. A protest asking for justice was organized some days back in Kolkata. The CBI has maintained that the investigation is still on in the matter. There are no updates from them. In the mean time, fans want to know what exactly happened on June 14, 2020 at the actor's residence.

After the actor's demise, his father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty on July 27, 2020 in Patna. He levelled a series of allegations against her. He alleged that he was not keep in the know about his son's mental health issue. He also said that he tried to contact Rhea and his manager, Shruti Modi but they never replied to him. In a short career of seven years, Sushant Singh Rajput left behind an impressive body of work in cinema. This was not all. He was a polymath and a humanitarian.
