Bigg Boss 14's Shardul Pandit had entered as a wild-card contestant along with Kavita Kaushik and Naina Singh. He was not quite visible in the show but did the tasks really well. Last week he was nominated along with Rubina Dilaik and got evicted. However, Salman Khan did announce that he lost only by a few votes. He also praised Shardul for entering the house when he was disturbed as his mother is not well. After his elimination, Shardul Pandit took to Twitter to praise the toofani seniors, Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan and Sidharth Shukla. He said that he would have been fortunate if he had entered the house when they were inside. He said that things would have been different if he had got their guidance inside.
Shardul wrote, "I haven't seen the episodes. I can tweet and let them know Sidharth Shukla, I got your bed, and use I got ur bed and used to say it every day on camera bhaiya would be happy today or angry. Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan, I wish I had entered when you guys were there your guidance could save me." He added, "I always told on cameras that this season Hina, if she was there with me would have cracked up the most and I tried to steal her tootie patotie, I am sure. Gauahar would have understood my stand on main issues but as I said hope life gives me a chance."

Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan were touched by Shardul's words. Hina Khan wrote, "Life never limits itself considering the person's location. You shall flourish and spread the message of life with all the love, wherever you go. All the best and prayers for your mom." Gauahar Khan also reacted to Shardul's note and wrote, "You played well. Wish you the best. Shardul, make the most of it. Everything has something good for you."
